Hello everyone,am @ceendy20 and this is my entry on the steemit challenge season 2/ week 2.

WHAT IS A FAMILY?

I would say that a family is a group of people bound together by blood. They must not necessarily live in the same house or state. We have various kinds of family in Nigeria,based on tribe or beliefs.
*We have *
Nuclear family
Extended family
Polygamous family
Monogamous family.

Brief explanation :

1. A nuclear family has to do with father mother and children only

2. An extended family has to do father mother,child and other relatives,both from the maternal and paternal side, which comprise of Uncle,aunties, cousins, grandmother, grandfather etc

3. A polygamous family has to do with a man with more than one wife,this kind of family is most found in the northern part of Nigeria and few in the south and in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

4. Monogamous family has to do with a man who is married to only one wife.

ABOUT MY FAMILY

Family is everything, like it is said and every man belong to a family. In this contest, I will be writing about my family and am grateful to God for giving me such an awesome family.

Am from a family of 8,which comprise of my parents,my siblings and I. My family reside in the city of Lagos State, we were all born and brought up there, and they are still there till now. My parents are both from imo state ,which makes I and my siblings from the same state. Now let me introduce you to my family.

MY FATHER

The name of my Father is Mr Aloysius Onyelonu, from imo state,resides in the city of Lagos. He is a business man that deals on books and stationaries, and other office equipment. A father of 6 children.
I would say I have been blessed with the gift of a father. My father is strict disciplinarian,who brought up all his children in the dear of the Lord, with good morals. He has seen us through school and has been ever supportive to the growth of the family.

MY MOTHER

I have always admired the beauty of my mother,,since I was little. Her name is Jecinta Onyelonu. Also from imo state. She had supported my father in his business,with her sound mind and very articulate way of handling a business. She is soft and caring, my dad being strict we run to her for comfort. My goes out of her to see that I and my siblings get the best of the things we need. I love my mum so much, I learn being a mother from her.

MY ELDER BROTHER

My elder brother is one person I love and admire so much for his good heart. His name is Francis Onyelonu. He is someone I can run to when am in need. He has the heart of a father. He is a graduate, he studied Electrical Engineering in School, and is currently working in the city of Lagos.

MY YOUNGER SISTER

My immediate younger sister, her name is chioma. She is currently a fashion designer. She is married with two beautiful children, she resides with her family in the city of Lagos. She is actually the most quite in the family, doesn't need trouble and likely the the most organized.

MY YOUNGER SISTER

Her name is Chizoba, currently a student at Abia state polytechnic Aba, Abia state Nigeria. She the 4th born and the third daughter of the house. Quite stubborn but God is working on her. She has a good , she is likely to give more when you are in need. She is a very good cook.

MY YOUNGER BROTHER

My younger brother Fredrick, he is the second son of the house and the tallest too. He is currently in the city of Lagos working and still seeking for admission to the university. Very intelligent and studious. Best in physics in secondary School. He is a hustler, ready to work and earn his own money.

THE LAST BORN

Beautiful and soft hearted just like my mum. Her name is Veronica. Still in secondary School writing her senior waec now in Lagos. She is the last born of the house. I hope to bring her over to my house soon. Most beautiful, loved by all, you can't help but give to her when she asks for anything from you.

MYSELF

My name is Cynthia, popularly known here as @ceendy20. Am a graduate and also married. I reside in the city of owerri, IMO state with my husband and son. Am a mother of one and am a full time steemian for now.

MY HUSBAND

My husband, the love of my life and father of my son. His name is Goodluck Ugochukwu. From imo state. He is a business man and also into politics. We reside in owerri imo state.

WHO IS THE FUNNIEST

Actually there isn't a particular person who is the funniest in my family. But we have this mango tree in my compound where we all usually sit and talk about things. It's usually a time where we talk about funny experiences and laugh our heart out. There is this oneness in my family that we cherish so much. So there is always a moment of laughter in the house.

WHO HAS BEEN OF HELP TO MV THE MOST

My parents are doing a wonderful job at taking care of all of us ,but amongst my siblings there is one person's who was a life saver to me during my days in school,Our third daughter Chizoba. Those days when it's almost like things are getting bad financially I call her for money and she gives me the little she has. She is my younger sister,before she got admission into school, she was working in Lagos at trade Fair market. From her salary she comes to my aid.

I remember been stranded one-day, stuck in school,no transport fair to go home,no food to eat by the time am done trekking home. I called her and explained things my situation to her, immediately she sent my 5k which was more than what I needed at that moment,that money was properly managed for the whole week.

I have a beautiful family,you can attest too, by going through this post. And am really blessed to have them. Am glad you were able to go through my post, thank you.
