INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone,it's still @ceendy20 and this is my 3rd entry on the @steemalive writing challenge. In the entry,I will be talking about the importance of taking fruits and the health benefits. Stay with me as I put you through.

The first fruit am going be talking about is

1. APPLE

Apple is among the healthiest fruits any one can think of. I took more of apple during my prenatal period and it helped me in so many ways possible. Apple come in various types and colours ,but the two most most popular colour we have here in Nigeria is the green and the red apple. One major characteristics of the red apple is that, it's very juicy and sweeter than the green one, but honestly speaking I still prefer the green one.

There are lots of benefits that comes with eating apple frequently as I would mention below;

BENEFITS AND NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF APPLE

  1. It contains antioxidants such as catechin, chlorogenic acid and phloridzen

  2. Eating apple frequently can reduce the risk of cancer

  3. Apple provides a good number of nutrients such as, fibre, carbohydrates, calcium, vitamin c and many others.

  4. It aids in digestion of food

  5. It aids in weight reduction,that is weight loss.

  6. It's helps boost our immune system

2. WATER MELON

Water melon is another popular fruit known both in West Africa and and all over the world for it's reddish look and juicy taste. Water melon contains 90% water and it's very good for the health. Water is amongst my best fruit, and I prefer using it as a night snack before going to bed.
Water melon has a lot of nutritional value,and it's best when taken frequently. Water melon is usually never out of season.

COMPONENTIAL VALUE OF WATER MELON

  1. It has 0% fat , which makes suitable for weight loss

  2. It's does not contain cholesterol

  3. It contains 1% of dietary fiber

  4. It contains vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B6. Vitamins good for the health and improves our immune system

Benefits Of Water Melon

1, It keeps you hydrated

2, It improves the function of the heart

3, It reduces inflammation

4, When taken frequently,keeps the skin healthy and freshly.

2. AVACADO PEAR

Avacado pear is well known in Nigeria and in most Asian countries. It's a very valuable fruit In the Eastern part of Nigeria. In Igbo it's called 'Ube bekee' . It is a seasonal fruit ,you don't vget to see it all the time in the market.
It's also one of my best, you can actually use it to bribe me.

Avacado can be use for a lot of things,
It's used for facials,to keep the face smooth
It can be earn with food such as rice,bread etc

HEALTH BENEFITS OF AVACADO PEAR

  1. Avacado is high in good calories
  2. It reduces depression
  3. It improves digestion
  4. It protects against cancer
  5. It's a mix up of both fruit and vegetables
  6. It contains vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K and vitamin B6
  7. Healthy for the heart.

We have all seen the important of taking these fuits.

Thank you for participating in the contest for the week.Fruits are very beneficial to the body for both young and old persons.The three fruits you highlighted are fruits that I like so much.I have preference for the green apple.As for avocado pear and water melon,I like them so much.Thanks for educating us on the Importance and health benefits of such fruits.
