INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone, am @ceendy20 and I am here to write about businesses that I have reviewed, that thrive most in my city owerri,imo state. I will point out these businesses and how they operate. Stay with me as I put you through.

BUSINESS REVIEW

I came into the city of owerri year 2020, though I have been coming subsequent times, for programs and meetings, but move permanently the year 2020, after my wedding. Owerri is not a business minded city like the city of Aba in Abia state and in Lagos known for business. It's mostly a city with few business and people come here to enjoy themselves.

I have taken time observe the businesses that thrive more in this city and I discovered about 4 of them, you will find them in any part of the city you go to. The four businesses that thrive in this city are;

1. Fuel station (oil)
2. Fast foods
3. Supermarkets.
4. POS business.

Am going to be talking about these four businesses, how they operate and how they are beneficial to the people in this city.

FUEL STATIONS

From the moment you come into owerri, you will fuel stations almost in every corner of the city. At a point I began to wonder why most people choose to invest thier money in building fuel stations,and I have not really gotten the answer.

On a busy road you will discovered fuel stations lined up side by side ,some of them are struggling, some has packed up while others are working fine,while some are still under construction.

My Advice
Instead of having some many filling stations, people should invest rather on factories and industries should be built to provide employment for the people. The lack of employment in this city is high.

It's benefits

It's reduces fuel scarcity in the city, because if station A lacks fuel , station C would have, there by makes it possible for people to get fuel even in scarcity.

FAST-FOOD RESTAURANTS

This another most thriving business in owerri. Like I said earlier, it's a city of enjoyment. At every turn and corner, it's easy to locate a fast food.

There are so many fast food joint in this city,and none of them is running out of business because they thrive very well. I have been to some of these fast-food and thier services are very good, so as to meet up with the high level of competition amongst the fast-food.

Job creation;

The large number of fast-food in this city has been able to create jobs for the youths here. It has helped in reducing unemployment in the city,as there are several positions in these facilities that a lot of people can fit into.

SUPERMARKETS/SHOPPING MALLS

The supermarkets in this city has made shopping easier for the people living here. Most of the things you go to a busy and bustling market to buy ,you can get it in the malls around. This is amongst the most thriving Business in this city.

People no longer have to undergo the stress of visiting local markets, when they can find what they need in these malls

People shop at their convenient, the environment is always cool and well aired. Each product has a particular section where you can find it. Things are well organized in a way that it makes shopping very easy.

I visited priceless supermarket recently to get a good cream and soap for my baby, and everything was in a particular section, I was able to locate what I needed with ease.

The supermarket/mall business has also in its own way reduce unemployment in the city, because each supermarket has various branches too in the same city, thereby allows people living around to apply and be employed.

Lastly

POS BUSINESS

A POS stand

The abbreviation POS means Point of Sale . I love this one actually because it has saved me severally the stress of going to que in the bank or at an ATM stand just to get my money, especially these period when precautions are taken due to covid-19 . Going to the bank has become really stressfull and investing.

Most people even traders and gone into this business, as it has become a need in our society today. People no longer have to go to the bank.

It is used in most offices, and for bank transactions. You can either withdraw or deposit your money through this means. I make use of the PoS machine slot, as it's easier and faster to get or deposit my money.

As good as this is good ,it also has its disadvantages. Most people have fallen into the hands of fraudsters, who have capitalized on this and still people's hard earn money, because this machine after use store some important banking details of the users. So these scammer get these details and are able to steal from people.

• So I advice people to be care of the PoS stand they go to.
• Not every Pos stand they see they should patronize
• Have a particular place you make your withdrawals
  *Be sensitive to the countenance of the PoS operator.
• Hide your pin while on use, it's for your personal use.

CONCLUSION/APPRECIATION

I have taken my time to study these businesses and I see they thrive more in this city than any other businesses. There are others too, but these do more.
