Greetings my beloved ones, am sure everyone is doing well.

We keep on working hard to make ends meet and God continues to bless our struggles but sometimes there are challenges that knocks us off balance,we can call them SUCKER PUNCH.

As the first daughter and the financial head of my family,life has never been easy at all, from my mother's severe sickness to my father's severe sickness, i battle them all and i won, when i thought that it is all over,the hardest challenge came and hit me so hard, it came and stayed for 1yr and six months now, but i trust in Almighty God.

How it began

Life was a bit easy for me and my family till 3pm 23rd Feb 2020 when the day became dark in my life, my younger brother (28yrs)that has been struggling to survive and has been assisting me in our family problems was involved in a severe accident that almost took has life.

I meet him lying lifeless in a hospital in Aba, gradually matters became severe we were referred to Federal medical center Umuahiasource,thinking things will be better we were also referred to University teaching hospital Enugu statesource

After the series of X-ray and CT scan and MRI.he was diagnosed of severe brain injury and he only needed a ventilator to keep him alive.

Finally he was admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU).
We were running test on daily basis that cost 4 SBD on daily basis for 2 months, each time we are to do CT scan or X-Ray on him we have to pay 80 sbd for it, we paid for the ventilating machine 32 sbd on daily basis.so disastrous and confusing time of my life.

For how long

Hmmmm i thought it i will recover soon but no way, it became more serious on daily basis, after spending 3months in the ICU we were admitted to the main ward were we spent more 10 months making 1yr and 1 month, and was discharged to pay 800sbd(2.6m) as our hospital bill, my family became shattered.

Unfortunately it was during covid-19 lockdown, the country was financially down, i ran to the Government, NGos, friends and family for help, there was no help but finally Jehovah intervened and he came back home.

I thought it was all over till we now noticed that he had hip fracture, which affected his urinary tract and might make him not to work around again, that requires hip surgery to correct the damages, which will also cost a huge amount of money.
so bad.

Difficulties this challenge has caused

I was just 5months in marriage when this incident happened.

You can just imagine the whole stress of my life, my father and mother are devastated, financially emotionally and otherwise they are drained.

We have sold everything belonging to us just to save my brothers life, my dad has nothing left for him.

In my husband family i don't have peace because i have never been able to concentrate in my marriage, both taking care of my husband and even thinking about my health as to having my own child, no way, because is just me, no relative or helper except Jehovah God.

Personally i have a huge medical issue i should attend to but i can't because i don't have the money, and the more i try to save the present challenge still drains me out.

How i have been coping

Just one thing keeps me going, Jehovah God, He has never forsaken me, it has been sooo tough but i have not fail Psalms 34:19, that says many are my afflictions but in all Jehovah delivers me, and many other Scriptures keeps me going.

Prayer is the key, i pray without season.

This problem was the main reason why my lovely aunt @meymeyshop introduced me to steemit and since i joined i have been making little earns to buy him his weekly drugs at least, and it was a huge relief.

The kind of help i need

Hip surgery is more than 60-75sbd, i don't know where and how to get it because i am drained, i have so many debts to pay.

My father has nothing to sell again and the more my brother stays the harder it becomes to correct it, the worst part is that he finds it so difficult to pass unrine, so any little assistance or financial help i get from anyone i will really appreciate.and i know God will bless the person.

For God to keep this young man till date he loves him and will appreciate anyone that assists.

Conclusion

This challenge really knocked me off balance.

Life has dealt with me, in every angle,but in all things i give glory to Almighty God.
