How to get an upvote from August Community Curators (see the changes made)
You probably must have gotten an upvote from the monthly selected community curators account and wishes to do same this month which is why you click this post. I promise never to disappoint you as I'll be compiling the list of selected August community curators as published by @steemitblog. I will also list down the tags suggested by these selected curators for the month of August.
Introduction
Over some time now the Steemit team has introduced a project which is loved by many, The Community Curator Project aimed at supporting Steemit users with upvote in different niches and I guess it's not new to existing users.
Every half of the month, @steemitblog publishes an open application post for those wishing to apply for community curators of the month (Application for the month of August) and winners are announced just before the new month commences and this month of August isn't exceptional.
In this month also, 5 teams were selected for different categories initially and another 1 team for new category. Continue reading to find out how to get an upvote from these curators .
Content Quality and Club Status
The six selected teams although has their respective tags however they're some general criterias which they all expect from users. These criterias include
"Original/quality content:✔️
I think this particular one shouldn't be a new thing to your seeing as it is a most-to-do required by not just steemit users but every blogger in other to standout among many posts.
Stay away from Plagiarism. Do not Spam. Be original and produce your own content. Be sure to use Duplicate checker or plagiarism checker (both are use to check for Plagiarism) before hitting the Post option.
Steemexclusive/Post length ✔️
It's also advised to ensure your content is steemexclusive . This means, only on steemit will your content be found and not on any other social or blogging site.
Do well to include the #steemexclusive tag in one of your tags, this is also a general criteria.
And as for post lenght, at least a 3-4 minutes post minimum will do, that's up to 300 words. You can make you use wordcounter too or most of plagiarism checkers also automatically counts words for you.
"Club status:✔️
In order to stand a chance of getting an upvote from any of the teams, you must be in either #club5050 (power up half of your exact earning within a month), #club75(power up 75% of your earnings in the last two months), or #club100 (powering up everything you earn within the last three months). You can always check your club status in steemworld.org .

Do well to use tags accordingly in order to get an upvote from this team. They vote 40% for club5050 post, 50% for club75 and 60% for club100.

This team is known as Quality control Team and is led by @kouba01
Tags to use- first important tag to use under this theme regardless of the type of post is #fintech. Others are #finance, #business, #cryptography, #science, #technology and #computing.

Known as **Lifestyle Curation Team. It's led by @ashkhan
Tags to use- #lifestyle, #food, #leisure, #travel, #gardening, #garden, #sports and health.
They are voting 30% for club5050, 40% for 75 and 50% for club100.

About Team Lucky Dip
The steemit team has this month, selected some persons known as the team Lucky Dip. This is in replacement for Learn with steem Team.
They are advised to vote on any post they wish that meets these criterias such being in the club, a post that's bot-free and a post that's without plagiarism. They are free to vote within and outside community posts . Although they are a kind of general team but won't vote on an already voted by steemcurators account post.

Conclusion
I was moved to write this type of post when while keeping engagement here on Steemit came across a very juicy post from a user that met curators criteria and worth an upvote but he didn't get it simply because he didn't use the tags rightly.
Before today I use to look forward to my boss sir @focusnow on a post like this whenever new community curators are announced . He's been doing a great job, I personally have been a great beneficiary of these votes , I just decided to compile the tags in this post and pin it in my browser as I've been doing and I hope it will be of worth to someone else too.
