Side effects of staying indoors for long (#all4one)

Hello everyone. Good to have you back here again.

Introduction

I wish to talk about some negative effects of staying inside the house for an extended period of time. This post is for all of us's health but mostly for introverts, those that prefer having time in non-social situations . I hope it'll be of worth to many, continue reading then.

I'll rhetorically ask, to those who prefer staying at home indoors all through, even during weekends or holidays who probably think it's fun filled and healthy, have you guys ever think of the negative effects this may bring?
Even if you ain't a fan of spending time outside I mean roughing it, it shouldn't prevent you from being outside at least for while altogether.

Bad effects of staying indoors for long

One sad truth you need to know is that, staying indoors for a prolonged period of time has very serious consequences which ranges from both mental and physical health.
Let's look in detail below the lines, the negative effects of staying indoors for a long time.

🛑

Weight gain

This is very possible in the sense that, you're grazing without moving or not having enough movement. When you're eating while being indoors all through without taking even a walk, your body fat will increases while your calorie requirement decreases. In this way, your muscles lose their ability to to burn the required fat because your metabolism slows down .
Nice since you aren't burning calories as possible, the extra calories will be stored as fat in your body.

Sleep problem & depression.

You will likely experience difficulty in sleep when you want to. You will discover that getting a regular sleep during night hours is a problem to you meanwhile this through the night sleep, your body replenishes and prepare itself for the following day's activities likewise your brain, analysing the informations it captured during the day.

In the other hand, it can be very easy to dive into bad thinking of having no hope for the future when you're alone at home for long time, you start feeling bored, this by no means is good for the health .

Frequently sick

The human body need to be exposed to pathogens, these exposure is very significant as it aids in developing your immuniry and also strengthening of your immune system. So when you're being inside all the times, your immune system is likely to be harmed.

I believe one of the great reason that keep people indoors is technology, either watching television, surfing the web or maybe playing games with their smartphones or computer. This can be very harmful to the mind and body. Staring at the screen can cause long -term eye strain. It's been proven also that, those who stay indoors finds it difficult to interact with people face to face, they consider video chat and some other discussion platforms. This is one of the mental effect of staying indoors all the times and is likely to affect relationships too.

Conclusion

Introverts are born as well as made. You can chose to be an indoor person even though you were born a social person all things considered, limit your indoor time for the benefit of your health.

It is true @barnabie, sitting or standing for a long time without exercise is not healthy like wise staying indoor for a long time, it has caused so many people mental health and many has gained weight, last week I met a but could not recognize her because of her weight, when I asked her she said she has been indoor for 2 years now without much activities.

You are right, staying indoors may cause insomnia,weight gain and even susceptibility to sickness.I noticed it at some point in my life.Thank you for educating us.

The truth is that many have died as a result of staying indoors. Still, many prefer it without minding the consequence. Your post @barnabie is educative. Keep posting quality contents.

Indoors can lead to many problems just like you said @barnabie. That's why sometimes you notice obesity in children. Reason? They are always indoors. From room to car, from car to school and from school to the house. It's good to take a walk every day. Thank God, I can't even stay 24 hours without going out Even though I am sick.

Have learnt alot from this your post and I am a victim of it, if I don't have any place to go I can remain indoors for days with stepping out
