RE: The Diary Game||11-12-2024||Attending a Graduation Celebration/End-of-the-year Party and A Surprise Visit From Santa Claus

The masks are horrible. Face expressions are important and so is the sound of a voice. Not to mention how dirty and unhealthy it is to inhale what you exhaled.

We only "celebrate" with a tree and light. We have it simply decorated with wooden figures or made out of "hay". No angles or such things, no presents it's no habit.

I don't visit church, the old habit was at midnight. I don't see any point in freezing to death in a crowded building where those who skip the entire year take the seats. I know the story told but I don't see christians live by the rules or do as preached. It must be something of the human species to break necks without a reason, no animal would do that.
I sent the youngest away to celebrate with the siblings. They flu on Dec 22, old enough to go without me.
I stay with the wolves and the sick cat if still alive. He ate a bit (10 bites and licked a bit) yesterday so my son is happy although he pees blood now.

So I will have 2 weeks of peace and harmony on earth home alone. 😁 No need to cook and everyone knows I don't answer the phone or chat 😉
So if my son buys me juice, milk and cheese I am good.

December 21st is Midwinter, it's where the tree comes from and the good (stored) food like haselnuts, stew, salted and smoked meat, the lights in the darkness and it is hibernate/pyjama film time 😁

If that's the case then the pores perforation should be like that once I have in my kitchen filter, facemasks are temporary, not worn for a long time, if you are a Christian then make your life exemplary rather than relying on others whose life is not worth the religion, let's let that slide.

Even if you don't stop by the church at least if you celebrate it's fine even if you don't it's okay by you, I feel instead of sending your kids off, I know he is mature but it's time to gather as a family maybe once in two years and make the most out of your day, if I should travel abroad today, I will take mum with me or make sure I visit frequently, if that's not possible then she goes with me, with dad, everyone has their own life to live but i feel the closeness bring more of the joy...

Time to gather together? Is there only one day in the year you do that with your family?
And what will you do if it's impossible for the entire family to be in one place at the same time?

This year I want one of my children not to be alone and that's why the youngest two will go since someone has to stay behind and this time it will be me since my son deserves a holiday too.

I don't believe closeness only comes with Christmas if that's the case it's fake. We speak another daily and I usually travel up and down. Btw I just arrived (the end of October) at my son's and took the youngest with me (she was away for 6 months - at school) so now she travels back with her brother to celebrate (or not) with the other siblings. There's nothing wrong with that. I won't die and if I would hopefully the animals will not be alone too long.

thanks for your reply, it's appreciated and it's good to hear you won't leave your mother behind.
