We all are familiar with the saying that education is the backbone of a nation because today's modern world is illuminated by the light of education and this education is spread among others by our respected teachers who are working tirelessly. And we all know the importance of classroom management in promoting this education. Knowledge transfer between teacher and students takes place inside the classroom. Today's topic is classroom management which I think is a very important topic. So today's homework is presented to you on such a wonderful subject
The special nature of management that is required to conduct the learning-teaching activities in the classroom is called classroom management which plays an important role in conducting the quality education of the students. Classroom management or classroom management is an important aspect of teaching activities which plays the role of classroom management of teaching activities to conduct regular class activities smoothly. Improving the quality of teaching and learning activities can be facilitated through classroom management.
Planning : Proper planning is very important in teaching management. Because for the successful management of a work, first of all, proper planning is required. Then if we go to implement teaching management according to that plan, then we will be successful. Planning will serve as the basis of everything in teaching management and a proper plan will control all the activities of teaching management for which the planning in teaching management is very important.
Implementation : The first step in making a proper plan is to implement the tasks according to that plan. Only accepting the plan will not finish the work, but according to the plan, the work of education management should be implemented properly. In this case, we will go one step further in the field of teaching management.
Assessment of learning : Assessment of learning should be given priority in instructional management because students come to the classroom to learn something new. In this case, the teacher needs to give knowledge to the students on the right subjectStudent's learning progress, success and failure are checked by assessment and it is a process by which to determine the extent to which students have acquired different aspects and skills of language. Therefore, assessment of learning is essential in teaching any subject.
Optimum Resource Utilization : Resources are utilized in two areas in education management. The first is the time spent by the teacher and secondly the equipment or other materials required for the educational work of the educational institution. In an educational institution, a teacher presents the subject matter of his class to the students within a specified time and after the specified time, the teacher leaves the classroom.
It is a challenging matter that in a short period of time the teacher has to spend his precious resource time on the proper work. On the other hand, the devices used in the classroom for students such as laptops in the case of modern education systems, science lab devices in the case of science students or other devices for drawing geometric pictures in the case of mathematics are very important for an educational institution. Moreover, all important components play a very important role in education management.
There are several ways to create a classroom environment that will support the learning process. First of all, the students in the classroom will easily get a good environment for studying by displaying various educational sayings and pictures of the world's best thinkers around the classroom. Also for primary school children, it is possible to create a classroom environment that supports the learning process among students by displaying some important words or characters from various book topics around the classroom.
Self Image
When I was in school, I used to see pictures of heroes who died for our Bengali language in 1952 painted around my classroom with their names and little identities displayed in classrooms that were our reading age. Also the vowels and consonants I used to see on the classroom walls in our school were written in big letters. And all these subjects we used to read from the wall in the classroom which we did not need to read from the textbooks a second time. Similarly, I want to create my classroom in a way where there are lessons that students can look around the classroom and gain knowledge and I think this supports the learning process.
As per my experience and observation there are many factors that can hinder classroom management. I am discussing some of these issues now.
Teacher being inattentive to himself : In a classroom, the teacher should first pay attention to himself because the teacher's inattention spoils the image of teaching students. Moreover, the teacher should try to make himself 100% qualified for teaching on specific subjects or content and should try regularly to improve his behavior as a teacher.
Deterioration of relations with students : I myself have seen teachers who misbehave with their students for no reason and administer harsh punishments with little anger in academics. In such a situation I think the teacher should be patient in different situations and pay full attention to developing the relationship with the students.
It is very important to have a good relationship between the teacher and the student in the teaching-learning process because it is not possible to conduct the learning process successfully in the classroom where there is a distance between the teacher and the student both.
Lack of rules and regulations in the classroom: Many times it is seen that in the classroom students do not obey the orders given by the teacher or the teachers do not protest the behavior of the students which spoils a good learning environment and It is important to set some rules and limits for the students in the classroom.
For example students should keep quiet when the teacher is talking in the classroom and raise their hands without saying anything while the teacher is teaching, and this maintains order in the classroom. Even then, if any student violates the rules and restrictions in the classroom, provide minor punishments for him.
Unnecessary talking in the classroom : Many times it is seen that in the classroom when the teacher is giving class or teaching something new, the students are talking about irrelevant topics among themselves and they are wasting the valuable time of the classroom. In this case, the teacher should make the students aware of these issues so that they refrain from talking unnecessarily during the class in the classroom because these issues are out of order. Moreover, by talking unnecessarily during the class in the classroom, it creates difficulties for other students along with the teacher, thereby hindering the education management.
I believe that effective classroom management is closely related to the learning contract. Because certain books are distributed to the students in the classroom which contain the subjects of their knowledge acquisition and a teacher is asked to teach on that subject. In this case the time limit is fixed, eg one year. What I mean here is that by reading all the books that are in a class room, the students will gain knowledge and get promoted to the next class through exams. In this case, classroom management has to do with the logic of learning.
Self Image
Teaching of students is basically course based as the students are taught for a certain period of time and after that the students are assessed on the knowledge gained by taking tests on the subjects taught. In this case, only book-based education is accepted and irrelevant subjects are left out. In book-based education, teachers and students are held responsible by which they continue their learning in a certain way.
If there was no teaching agreement with the classroom management, there would be no need for post-teaching testing of students. Nor were books printed on a particular subject but the desire to teach freely was given to acquire knowledge which created major obstacles for educational management. Since there is a teaching contract with the classroom management, students can acquire detailed knowledge about the subject within a given period of time and the class teachers also teach the students on the specific subjects seriously. In this way the correct knowledge reaches the students in a short period of time so that the teacher and the students do not get confused. And in this case the content of the exam is tied to all the subjects taught in the classroom which the students have to pass which clearly shows that there is a teaching contract with the classroom management.
