for constantly organizing a contest to keep this community alive. I am here to tell you the relationship that should exist between teachers and students and how it can help impact teaching -learning process. Stay with me , let's start.
There is no gain-saying that relationship that exist between students and teachers can either enhance learning or mar it. Every learning starts with a teacher who strategizes on the best way to impart knowledge. However, this can be far-fetched if the relationships that exist between them are negative. This is why it is imperative that teachers and students build good relationship with each other.
As a teacher, how cordial should you be with your children
As a teacher who had worked with the students over decades now, I have realized that a cordial relationship can help a teacher know what best method to use in imparting knowledge. Every chid is uniquely different and needs a different approach in teaching. I relate with my students cordially as friends so they can love my subject. When students love you and your behaviour, they will definitely love your subject.
Although, I keep boundaries on the limit of my relationship with them, I become like a friend to them. This has helped in knowing each child's weakness and strength. Thus, enabling me to strategize on how to solve their academic and social needs.
If you are not sincere with the students, it can have a bad effect on the life of the students, do you agree as a teacher??
Of course, I agree totally. Insincerity on the part of a teacher can affect his students. This is true. For instance, a teacher who keeps promising awards to his best performing student in his class or subject without fulfilling them won't gain respect by his students any longer. This will ultimately affect his relationship with the them and of course their perception of a kind of person he is.
Sincerity is a hallmark of a model leader. A teacher who wants to gain respect must first respect his words and actions. As role model, he should be an idol to students who may want to be like him.
To be a good teacher, do you prefer to be sincere or do you prefer to be tough? Why did you agree??
Yes, every good teacher should not be rigid or tough but flexible. Sincerity has to do with being honest, transparent and open. When your students know you as a sincere teacher, definitely they will take you by your word any time. At the same time, a tough teacher cannot win the heart of his students. Every student sees their teacher as a father. Therefore, if a teacher is tough in relating with his students, it will affect his teaching. I believe and support being sincere.
What are the good and bad effects on students in education if teachers are sincere or strict?
Certainly, teachers attitude towards students whether good or bad affect them. The effects of being sincere or strict as a teacher are not far-fetched. First, a sincere teacher is loved by his students. The students believe him and take him by his words. A teacher who is sincere, stands out among his colleagues and can be a role model to the students. However, a teacher who is strict chases away his students. The students may not get closer to him because every student loves a flexible teacher.
Although a teacher should be a disciplinarian, being strict can scare his students from getting to him. They may be afraid of him.
Conclusion
The teacher-students relationship aims at promoting smooth atmosphere for imparting knowledge. Every teacher is seen as a role model by the students. If a teacher is sincere, that will affect his work positively but if he is strict, it will also affect his work as well. It therefore believed that a teacher should establish a positive relationship with his learners so it could help him know how to approach his student.
