Contest " My Resumption Plans For the New Academic Year"

Happy New Year dear steemian friends in this amazing community, I'm delighted to be here in this ecosystem.

I was invited by @okokon to participate in this contest and I'm glad to share my view on these topic" my resumption plans for the new academic year", before I start answering the contest question asked by @nsijoro
permit me to start by saying that "failure to plan is planning to fail", to achieve success in any endeavor they must be proper and accurate planning, aside from planning, strategies should be made to achieve such plans.

• How was your short break?

Earnestly speaking, I want to say that I really enjoy my short break which was Christmas and new year break,the essence for the break is to rest, relax and refresh the mind and in most cases carry out research on key areas if needs be and meet with family and loves ones. Being Christmas break after school closure which was on the 8th December 2024, I travel to the village to meet my family and friends whom have been far away from for a certain time , and here in the village I enjoyed different delicacy such as Utoboro, cooked with unripe banana, boiled sweet yam eaten with pepper and red oil ,and having a sit out with friends who travel from different states to attend our get together party. l believe picture speak volume than words.

I also had a surprise visit from my best friend who travel from Lagos State to meet me in Uyo despite the hike in transportation, I was really pleased 😄 😄 to see her after a long while

• Are you resuming today, or how and when are you resuming?

I'm not planning to resume this first week but rather try to arrange myself, first week is usually revision in secondary and primary school,so my plan is to stay in the village go to the farm harvest yam and processe garri so that life will be little bit easier for me on my returns to town

It will be better to travel with food back to town because January is too long to stay hungry without salary 🤣🤣🤣😀

• What's your plan for this new academic session/resumption from the break? (What goals do you set, and how are you going to achieve them?)

• I have a whole lot of plans for my students; first,the ability to build self confidence in them especially jSS3 who are preparing for junior neco and state exams, I teach Basic science which one of the most essential subject in junior levels of education

• Secondly,I also want to prepare my students effectively by using old pass questions for revision because most of the questions are usually gotten from there,if possible all the students should be able to acquire a complete compilation of pass questions which is usually called lasswell for junior secondary.

I really want to unite with my students back in no distance time.
