Brief Report

• The assignment was attended by 16 participants .

Our Assessment

As usual, we as a team conducted an objective assessment by collecting data first before finally determining the winners in the Week 3 assignment.

We do our best to ensure each participant's answers and explanations of the learning targets. Review participants' assignments and score them according to our assessment indicators such as quality, accuracy, and relevance.

1. In the first point we expect participants to choose a case related to the managerial of a school or educational institution that they have experienced or know about.

2. At this point, we expect participants to identify the cause of the case they chose earlier. Explanation and elaboration of why a managerial problem in an educational institution may occur. And we found many good identification skills from the participants.

3. This is the most important part as it is directly related to the subject matter of this lesson. We expect participants to be able to analyze managerial problems that occur, using the approach of the functions of educational management. Because basically these functions are the main pillars in creating a conducive situation for an educational institution.

4. Finally, we expect participants to be able to give their opinions on solutions to managerial problems that occur.

In short, we hope that with this learning, participants can increase their sensitivity to educational developments. As we know, good quality education will also have a good effect on the next generation.

Winner Announcement and Reviews

It was a difficult decision for us to determine the winners as this was such a competitive contest. Each participant demonstrated excellent understanding and presented the homework task. And after a long process, we announced the 3 participants who were selected as winners.

🥇1st Place (5 Steem)

This author was able to select a case that was managerially relevant to the campus where she was studying. Her explanation focused on a problem where teachers were unable to provide good learning.

Good identification of the cause of the problem and the detailed analysis through the education management function made us choose it as the first winner. In addition, this author also provided a very good solution with details and also actively engaged with other participants, giving her added value and we think she deserves it.

🥈2nd Place (3 Steem)

This author packaged the presentation of his assignment very interesting, starting from explaining the condition of an educational institution before identifying the managerial problems that are happening. Good analysis is also applied by this author based on the functions of educational management.

His solution of decentralized instruction and the right of teachers to voice their opinions we think is very powerful to correct the abuse of authority that has led to the decline of educational institutions. So we agreed to put him as one of the winners in Week 2.

🥉3rd Place (2 Steem)

The user gave a case scenario of educational management in her country and she stated the problems which the schools are currently facing which include shortage of staffs and unavailability of resources. Also the user pointed out that inadequate supervision on teachers is also a big issue as many of the staffs don't always carry out their task.

Solutions provided by the users is that schools should have sufficient staff and also there should be proper monitoring of the work done by the various Staff.
