Good day steemians!

I've been teaching for 12 years already in a public school and I am under 5 school heads already because every 3 years they will take turn. From that 5 school heads, our recent school head is unique. He always had a weekly meeting wherein we will be talking things and plans for the upcoming activities and programs.

And right now, since our school year is about to end. We talk about tge upcoming activities esp the moving up Ceremony.

MOVING-up CEREMONY

We first talked about it, and the planned date is April 14, 2025. We only had few weeks more to go before the said date. So, we had to double time our lesson because we had plenty of paper works including the learners forms, and we also had a completion practice if the parents will agree that they will have a moving-up ceremony. The meeting with the parents will be done during the 3rd quarter card slip giving. And the school principal will preside the meeting together with the teachers and the rest of the pta officers.

Our school head also decided to divide the sections to two batches because the school gym cannot accomodate 20 sections. The morning shift will start at 8:30 and the afternoon is at 1pm.

Recognition rites with the undergrad will happen at April 11 before the completion ceremony.

SUPERVISORY VISIT

The next agenda was the supervisory visit that will happen anytime starting next week. The supervisors will visit the schools to check the following:

• Learning Environment
• Lesson Plan
• Observation of Classes

And we were tasked to prepare an answer whenever one of them will ask us what we did during suspension of classes or if the classes will changed to modular on that particular day due to some circumstances.

This week, the supervisors were on the island. And maybe by next week, if they will not have a meeting, they will go to the mainland.

Those were some of the topics that we talk during our weekly meeting. We started around 10:40 and ended at 11:40 its just an hour meeting.

We always do this so that we will be aware on the commotion happened in our school. And for us to be updated on the things we need to know.

As of the moment, I dont have any funny moments because we were a bit busy to meet some deadlines. We had to finish this the grades of our handled sections. And this school year, I handled 6 sections plus advisory.

I became an asst registrar last school year, but I stopped because of time management. I had to study everyday because they had given me an EsP subject.

And teacher should accept whatever task their school heads gave except those impossible things.
