What Is Fruits

Hello Literacy friends, best regards to you all.

I am glad that I have come to the end of the post about plants that I have discussed in the last few days, being able to share it with all of you pleasant things, especially with students and teachers. I'm aware that this plant-themed post still has a lot of flaws, but I'm happy to try something new and learn even better.

In this post, I will tell you a little about the part of plants that has many benefits, especially for living beings such as humans and animals. The part of the plant is the Fruit, which results from plant reproduction and is quite beneficial.

Fruit is the result of plant reproduction which is often also called the ovary, a place where seeds are stored until they become fruit. Fruits are widely enjoyed by humans and animals, as a good intake for the body, this is because the fruit contains many nutritious substances needed by the body. So that the part of the plant called this fruit, is always in wait until it develops well, to then be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Many plants have fruit, and many plants have no fruit. Fruit in plants is also influenced by natural or climatic factors, so some types of plants that bear fruit sometimes do not grow well in a region with a certain climate. Fruit is also a symbiotic relationship between plants, humans, and animals.

Many names of fruits are familiar to us, some of them are apples, oranges, watermelons, papayas, bananas, guavas, tomatoes, and other fruits that we may consume frequently, or that may thrive in the region or country where we live.

Types of Fruit

Fruits in plants do have characteristics that are almost the same, in addition to different flavors and shapes and how they grow on the tree. But you all know that the fruit has its type/category based on the type of fruit. To understand it read the following description :

Fruit By category or origin is divided into 3, namely :

Single Fruit : single fruit is a type of fruit formed from one flower with one ovule. Examples are apples, oranges, and tomatoes. Its characteristics have one main part so that it encloses the seeds

Fruit Structure

Fruit based on its shape is different, although some types of fruit may have the same shape. But almost most of the fruit there is a fruit structure that is almost the same, the following is the structure contained in the fruit :

🍒Fruit stalk : the part that delivers food in the form of important substances produced from the photosynthesis process to all parts of the plant and one of them is the fruit.

🍒The pericarp is often called The Wall of the fruit and we all call it the skin, the skin has a pigment that determines the color of the skin of the fruit.

🍒The endocarpium is the innermost layer of the fruit that surrounds the seed.

🍒Mesocarp often referred to as the flesh of the fruit, this part is often consumed by humans and some types of animals, this is because the flesh of the fruit contains nutritious substances.

🍒Seeds, the part of the flower that has ripened or matured.

Furthermore, what is the function of these fruits for plants and also its important role in the ecosystem of living things? Here is a description of the following two :

Benefits of Fruits for Plants
  1. The fruit protects the seeds of the plant from things that interfere from the outside because the seeds are part of the embryo of a new plant.
  2. Become one of the places to store food reserves for plants.
  3. A way for plants to grow.
The benefits of Fruit for Living Beings
  1. Food sources that are beneficial to the body.
  2. An important source for the body to obtain vitamins, obtaining fibers very useful for digestion.
  3. Source of antioxidants that are needed by the body.

In the higher levels of study, each part of the fruit and also the types of fruit, has other parts that can be learned and known. It is certainly very interesting for those who love lessons related to plants. This is also the stages in a lesson so that science can be focused and tiered according to the ability and thinking power of students to absorb knowledge or lessons.
