RE: Succession (series): It's really good if you are patient and probably have subtitles on
I checked and lucky you there are 4 seasons! If it comes to the storyline it reminds me of all the other (we call them soaps) we had in the past: Dallas, Dynasty, Falcon Crest. It's drama, drama and more drama.
Is it meant as a lesson and should we be happy we don't have filthy rich manipulators in the family? Most of us have those family members (or neighbours) so better rich and unhappy than poor and unhappy.
As I understand from season 1 it all starts with Dad's plan to do a step back (retirement and death are always good for endless fights and egos) but except for the youtube video, you showed and the fact I found it on tvdodayz.to I did not watch it. It doesn't look very entertaining and if it comes to drama I like Korean a bit more (I also rarely watch American films they tire me out). I believe I will need subtitles as well to concentrate more, also because I do watch films without sound.

I am more in to sitcom, superheroes, action, mystery, and scifi. In all that you can expect some bit of drama as well.
And when it comes to series, lately I barely find times. And I enjoy more rewatching old series like Friends (which I have completed for times, I lost count), The Stranger Things, Ozarks. Watching these old series, I find it more enjoyable since I already know what to expect. I guess something is wrong with me.
So you like to watch mainly series where you know what to expect? If you ask me that's always clear if it comes to series, drama, sitcom and soap opera. At least it is to me and many others and also the tip to give to those living one. Take distance, look at your life as if it's a soap opera and you know what to expect but also how to solve the issues faced.
It's clear you and I will be most likely not be so bored we will watch all those seasons. Perhaps watch 2 and next only audio?

Thanks for reading! If it weren't for the fact that I don't "have" a series right now I probably would have walked away from this one again. It is a good show but it really takes a long time for anything meaningful to happen and this is a problem with a lot of USA shows: They seem to be very interested in stretching it out as long as they possibly can.
Do you have a Korean series to recommend for me? I would like to get involved in another Korean series but I rarely know where to start. I'm not really interested in love stories but prefer the revenge or thriller series that I have watched in the past.
