Hey Everyone. My introduction post
I’m Onnisah, and even though I’ve been around here for a bit, this is my first time posting, so I wanted to finally join in on the conversation! I’m more into series than movies, but I’ve had the chance to watch a few gems lately, and I thought I’d share my thoughts.
First off, Miseducation really stood out to me. It’s a fun and insightful look into university life, with plenty of humor, drama, and a lot of relatable moments. I love how it balances those college vibes with real challenges around identity and friendships—it definitely kept me hooked.
I also recently watched The Lost City on Netflix, and while it’s light and adventurous, the humor was the main draw for me. The quirky characters and fast-paced storyline made it a great watch when I needed something fun. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is exactly what I enjoyed about it.
And of course, Sex Education remains one of my top series picks. The way it approaches sensitive subjects around relationships and growing up is just so refreshing. Plus, the characters and their stories are both funny and deeply real, making it impossible not to get attached.
Looking forward to hearing what you all are watching and what’s been standing out for you! Can’t wait to dive deeper into more shows and movies together.
Hi there! I have not seen any of those shows a lot. I think I started watching Sex Education but if it is what I am thinking of it was a teenage drama sort of high school thing and that almost never appeals to me. I'll have a look out for all of these those.
Welcome!
