El término alma se refiere a una entidad inmaterial que, según las afirmaciones y creencias de diferentes tradiciones filosóficas y religiosas, poseen todos los seres vivos. El alma y el cuerpo no son separables en el ser viviente.
Creo que el alma es la esencia misma de cada uno de los seres humanos.

The term soul refers to an immaterial entity that, according to the statements and beliefs of different philosophical and religious traditions, all living beings possess. The soul and the body are not separable in the living being.
I believe that the soul is the very essence of each human being.

I must get rid of you before I am hurt
you are harder than forgetting itself,
wisely my soul understands.
