Looking at some years back, farmers normally start preparing their plot very early at the beginning of the year.

They clear and burn the bush and wait patiently for the rain to start. They get their crops ready for planting and get to work immediately after they see the first rain.

Before we reach the third month, crops had started growing bigger, and within six months, some crops like maize and vegetables are ready for harvesting.

Nowadays is a different story however because after clearing and burning the bush farmers still have to wait until the third month before rain come.

And when the rain finally came, everyone rushee into the farm to plant. But sadly rain stopped again and as a result farmers loosed their plant which died as a result of too much heat.

Everything has changed so much and this makes me wonder how the world will be like in future in terms of climate changes.

I don't know what to expect, however I hope that the Crops will adapt to the change in climate and struggle to survive.

There is no doubt that things has changed, however we look forward to developing new and advanced farming methods and seeds that can survive even under this climate change.

This will enable farmers to grow and maintain more healthy crops at increased quantity thereby making food available for all.

That is my entry for the contest: Looking back/Looking forward, you can participate through this Link.

I noticed farmers are ploughing, sowing and harvesting the entire year. They ignore cold winters and warm summer and do not sprinkle. Perhaps all together they have a better harvest?
I think we should change our habits, not waste as much food and eat different. I don't believe in the climate change or humans saving the earth.

If the elite would be so worried they would stop with big tech and big pharma and not take land away from our farmers and build more houses instead.
People produce more garbage, have way more carbon footprint (CO2) than a goat, pig or cow.

It doesn't make any sense to me.

You are really correct though, it's true that humans cannot save the earth, they rather destroy it with their so called development, what they must do now is just to change their habit and try to save the little left by recycling at least. A little effort is needed to save the little chance we have for planting, because it's necessary. We are however looking to the Almighty to repair the damages done because it is beyond us humans. Thanks for your contribution. 💖💐

Seeds will always survive we might need to plant sething else instead of the genetic manipulated seeds?

Thank you for joining our contest. 👍
