Dear Steemians, Dear Steemit Team!

I haven't bored you with reports for two months now. Of course, this was due to the stress of moving house, which slowed me down a bit on the Steem. But it was also due to my continuing strong conviction that a report is only worthwhile if there is something to report that goes beyond statistics and lists.

So: we have completed our move! Of course, we're not sitting in the finalised land of milk and honey, there's still a lot to do. But - I no longer have to commute! That alone gives me the opportunity to publish something myself more regularly again and to broaden my base...

So there are currently several active posts from me again, my comments have never stopped anyway. In addition to my own account, I am also permanently curating with the Community and Charity accounts of the Dream Steem Community.

There is still our ongoing weekly competition "Keyword of the Week", which is currently about FAST FOOD - a bestseller, it looks like ;-))

We have also started another fundraising campaign in favour of @bien, who has to cope with the costs of his aunt's medical treatment after a stroke. Several Steemians and initiatives have already responded to our appeal: I think we are obviously continuing to stick together as users!

What otherwise attracted the most attention on the Steem - and gave rise to various consultations - were the ups and downs of the STEEM course, ongoing discussions on the value and use of AI on the Steem, the lessons of the current teaching teams (which have now also given way to a certain schematic and routine boredom like the SEC before...) and some successfully implemented changes to the frontend. I particularly welcome the option to hide resteems and minimise the display of pinned posts. On the other hand, the much longed-for bookmark function is still missing ;-))

The new or additional focus of the Community Curators on the gaming scene seems interesting to me, because it should bring completely different users into focus. However, I myself have neither knowledge nor interest in this area and therefore continue to look for new and exciting bloggers: I can certainly recommend following @hefestus' posts at this point ;-))

Thank you for your attention and see you soon!

Yours @weisser-rabe

Deutsche Version:

Liebe Steemians, liebes Steemit Team!

Euer @weisser-rabe

I feel like I have to thank you for the distinction of naming me, personally, in this report, and also, to point out that calling me "new" is an oximoron. :))) Yes, I am new around here, but in no way new to writing blogs, or to life, for that matter. Anyway, I also wanted to give my thanks for the way you made me feel so welcome in steemit and to promise to continue to try and provide you with quality content.
I still don't quite grasp the way this all works, but I will, in time, as I explore further.
Once again, thanks and my bow to you, @weisser-rabe.
I hope all goes well with your new move and you enjoy your new surroundings for many long years.
Cheers to you,
Pedro

Sometimes I feel myself "new" on Steem because a lack of some special knowledges ;-)) Wish you to have a good time here!

Although an amphibian creature is on his way to driving me to madness, I am pretty sure I'll have a good time, as I feel I have crossed paths with a number of persons that I am liking very much. Thanks again.

... and the amphibian creature is really a good one - with bad days.

Everybody has good and bad days... And I do like a good argument. Still, there was no need for such a lashback. It did get tiresome, after a while. I'm glad it's put to rest now.

Want to laugh? My eldest kid told me that if I keep writing in German, I'll end up getting into a fight with someone. He says the language is too hard for my warm blooded latin sensitivity. (you see, he knows I have bad days, too). :))))))
He read the comment threads, earlier.
Anyway, I did look into his posts and did enjoy the reading. He writes very good stuff.
