Week 4 Curation Report By Team Newcomers
Dear Steemit Team,
It's our delight to report our 4th week as curators and a team who guides and supports newbies in their first 3 months on the platform. It was a great week though, a lot of new ones are coming in daily and it's a good sign.
As part of our work, we've encouraged them to be active, and consistent and we've helped them to see the importance of meaningful engagement, it's the lifeboat of the platform. We encouraged them to power up and fellow any club status they are comfortable with as this is the only way they can grow their accounts. A lot of them can write very well now, only a few still plagiarize, but mostly with their images so we have cautioned the offenders, and also dropped the link to some free sites they could source for free images. Below is the highlight of our activities:
Country:
Last week we were able to support 177 Posts from 9 different countries Nigeria took the lead with 68 upvotes, seconded by Bangladesh with 42 upvotes and then Indonesia with 30 Upvotes respectively. We were excited to see new ones from Peru and Sri Lanka and Ecuador, we hope to see them grow.
Community:
We found them in 27 different communities, Steemkids/parents were leading with 26 Posts, followed by Steem4betterlife with 20 posts, and Steem Pakistan was the third with 17 Posts accordingly.
Club status:
We are rigid when it comes to club status rules, our rule is relaxed, especially for those who joined in less than a week or two. We used to encourage them to power up at least 50% of their reward when it pays out because it's the only way they can build up and strengthen their accounts. Last week we upvoted 119 club5050 posts, 43 were not in any club, 12 were in club75, and 3 of club100.
Good Comments:
We supported 26 good comments during the week, it was to encourage meaningful engagement in the blog.
Curators working Schedule:
The above image shows our different working days during the week.
A new week where @realitytrend brings us her day a little different because she is on vacation and has time for her sewing in a soft fabric that she kept, when she woke up she felt a little sad but she decided to take her Bible and thus find tranquillity when reading, a small business that a family has where they get extra work and there they find a great taste for the art of sewing. Time passed so quickly without stopping that when I looked at the time it was already 4 in the afternoon. Now that it was the time when she should have eaten, she remembered that great roast fish that after enjoying it she could be calmer, and finally after 5 in the afternoon she began to leave everything tidy to return home. The author is one of the newcomers who quickly learns about Steem. This post was written as a personal experience with an interesting, honest and emotional narrative. There is actual and relevant information about flood conditions in the city of Lhokseumawe, accompanied by photos of his involvement in the flood. then the author shows family involvement, practical tips, variety of content, so this post is very interesting to read. In this post user shares her participation in Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 14 week 5 in Steemkids & parents. There is a famous quote charity begins at home as before helping other people outside it's best to help people at home first. Everyone should build a habit of giving charity even at home or to people around us to support them in their difficult times.. Ashkhan 3 days ago
@rumaisha entered a contest and wrote beautifully on the topic; charity begins at home, she defined charity as a kind deed out of love for others be it a needy, family Or friends. As a mother, She instils good values in her kids because mothers are first teachers. She believes that Good deeds shouldn't be publicised, her post is interesting and deserves to be spotlighted.. by Wilmer1988 3 days ago
