Introduction

Time to review my work again as a country representative. I thank the Steemit team for the opportunity to serve in this capacity, helping to advance the interest of Steemit in my community Nigeria. Here is a report of my activities for the week.

1. Powering up to remain in Club75

I watch my account closely to ensure I am not slipping out of club75. In fact in the last couple of weeks, I have not transferred any Steem out. If you see the last two months record of my transactions below, I have been powering up almost everything to stay in club75. See the screenshot below:

2. Announcing Steem Business Directory-

I initaited a new project designed to attract local businesses to Steemit and encourage them to invest here long term. The marketing plan is that we will provide valuable services to those businesses such as digital marketing, enlisting their business online and even branding. In return for such useful services, these businesses would be asked to invest long-term in Steem. We have already kicked off and started reaching out to those businesses. 3. Convincing Prubsons to Invest in Steem

After announcing the kickoff of Steem Business Directory, I had to get off to work. Its important that I show my members that we can actually convince local businesses to invest in Steem if we have a valuable services to offer them. That was exactly what I did with @prubsons, a furniture manufacturing business at the ground floor of our Steemit office building. I was able to show the CEO that its worth buying steem after I put his business on Google maps and run Facebook sponsored ads for him. I have written about this successful first impression below:

4. Our weekly class was all about Steem Business Directory

Given the amount of awareness and push we wish to give Steem Business Directory, I decided to use it as the subject of our weekly class normally held on Tuesdays. I roused our members by encouraging them to support the project massively as it is a win-win for everyone that get involved.

Our outline contains just 3 items. Here is a summary of what the discussion was all about:

• Our Vision for Steem Business Directory: We want to attract 1000 Local businesses to not just sign up, but invest in Steem significantly. We hope to achiveve this vision in the next 6 months.

• How we want to achieve our Vision: We will get involved in a massive awareness campaign. We will utilize all avenues such as Radio broadcasts, printed materials, word of mouth/referrals, and physical visits to local businesses. Combining all, we hope to reach out to more than 1000 local businesses in a short time.

• How you can gain now and in the Future from this project: Attracting external investors will no doubt create a demand for Steem, which in the long run be healthy for Steem price. Wouldnt you want to see Steem prize at $5 once again, then lets bring in more investors.

5. Physical meetup for Steem Business Directory

I had to invite some top leaders so that we put heads together and come up with strategies to push Steem Business Directory and Sell More. I want to use this medium to appreciate @ijelady who travelled all the way from Uyo to attend the meeting. It was really productive as we all contributted ideas to make the project a success. 5. Contests

I made sure to follow the same Standard set by the Steemit team for the Steemit engagement challenge. Contests are announced on Sundays, and results of previous contests are announced on Mondays. Below is our contest post for this week.

Plans for the week.

This week will be all about Steem Business Directory. Below are some things I will do - I have already started though.

• Run Sponsored ads for Steem business Directory
• Physically visit local businesses and introduce Steem Business Directory to them
• Make a Radio presentation for Steem Business Directory
• Hold a physical meetup for Steemians in Aba
• Run Steem mentorship classes online.

Conclusion
