Team 4 Curation Guide for October 2024

October seemed like a fun month for the three of us to carry out the duties of Team 4 as curators something we have long wanted to try together. Selective Tim is the name that became the basis for us to start all this, a picture of our commitment to carry out our duties as one of the curator's team. We hope that our contribution will have an impact on the Platform, and also be a motivational boost for many users on Steemit.

What are we looking for in October?

Our existence in Team 4 as curators is looking for posts, of course, but the target of the posts we support will focus on the best posts that add value to the platform. What's more, the posts are created by new users with a type of content that matches the focus of the goal we are looking for. Whether it's on a personal blog or a community blog, we will look for a little further.

As with posts, good comments also liven up the Blogging ecosystem and can be just as good as the post itself. This is the target we are looking for next because good comments will add value and deserve to be rewarded.

On the other hand, we like information posts, creativity, insights, and also informative posts. This is not just a daily story post that doesn't want to be read with the shortcomings, but for some posts with these storylines, sometimes there are really interesting ones, and we try to see the best side.

What are we ignoring from our curation?

There are always types of posts that are ignored, and there are always, and there must be a reason why it happens. Posts that are indicated by plagiarism and AI will be neglected from our duties, the use of copyrighted images without clear information is equally bad.

However, all types of posts are the rights of all users, our team only works based on existing commitments and rules. All users have the right to channel their hobbies, and all users have the right to experiment and be creative according to their ideas, however, violating the existing guidelines will still be ignored by us from Team 4 curation.

Upvote percentage

The percentage of upvotes ranges between 30% and 50%, this is influenced by how good and quality the content is. Likewise with comments, but with a smaller percentage that ranges from 10% to 20%. For the rest, it is the members of the team in charge who determine the standard.

What will we do when we are selected to be the curation team in September

1. We are committed to finding good posts from personal blogs or those in the community, reaching users who may often be overlooked with good posts, of course.
2. Our team is aware that relevant and kind comments are an important part of the extra wealth of the Steem blog ecosystem, and this part deserves an award.
3. All types of posts that have benefits and information are parts that we will support, this improves the quality of the Platform, not only to share stories, but also to share informative information.
4. Refusing any form of request for support to anyone, undermines the sense of justice that may often be overlooked because of this.

In the end, Team 4 was quite ready to work on the task given in October and we accepted this challenge.
