I am not sure, but I don't see any problem in that. In fact, if applied, it should benefit the users immensely. I have used that tag in my post at my community and got the result instantly.
is it possible to search for a place if you add your content in Steem Atlas?
Yes there is! I tried it, found it as I kept clicking. But then my post was already posted, so I did not do it. Actually, if you reach to the exact location in Steemit Atas a window opens, and you can do everything just as you do on the website.
I tried to type the place to find the exact spot before I wanted to post but it didn't work. I will try again. Thanks
No, you don't have to type but just click at the point where you wish to pin it. You must keep clicking until the window opines.
It's hard to find the right spot but if there and I click nothing happens. I tried it many times. Browser or?
Go to atlas, Pinpoint the spot and click at your destination. This is the window.

pinpoint isn't possible I believe it doesn't load. I will try something else. Thanks for showing what it looks like
It works just like Google Maps works. Select your location, drag it, click at it and then there is + sign click at it and there you are.
