Week 3 January Curation Report of Team True Colours 3

1. Preface

Have you read our previous reports? No?
Here is a brief summary of our rewarding method. We have decided to appreciate even more comments because there is a lot of good content to be read in the interaction between writers. In week 3, we also focused even more on artistic and creative in image and writing. This means several communities will no longer appear in the statistics because not a single comment can be found there!
This week, we also searched for often-forgotten countries (especially those in Europe) and North America via hashtags.

Note: Since the good, active commenters/engagers are always the same people they received more support.

This is a statistical report on Team True Colours 3's implementation of the third week of January curation activities.

2. The Statistics

In the third week of January 2025, Team True Colours 3 curated 24 posts and 176 comments to make a total of 200. Starting from her question to @wakeupkitty.pal about life in the Netherlands, which was answered with an article, because it was too long to post in the comment section; vipnata responded by bringing up several aspects including her experience living in Italy. She also questions several issues including the situation of immigrants and government policies in European countries, especially regarding immigrants, and regretted that in some conditions, according to her, assimilation between immigrants and natives is minimal. Vipnata has her concerns.

As the name implies, this is the 10th part of Yurche's Travel Around Petersburg series. In part 10 of the series, Yurche takes readers to see the natural beauty of the Akhvenkoski waterfall located in Karelia. The 26 high-resolution photos (shot using the CANON EOS 50D) included show what one can expect to find there.

afrog's comment on the article written by @hefestus, seems “sharply” question and contradicts several aspects of it. Hence it is able to show an interesting debate, especially for those who like the theme, which is about some things that can be categorized as conspiracy theories including the existence of aliens [Non-Human Intelligence (NHI) and Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)] and it adds value to the main article. This comment by Afrog is the start of a short series of debates between them.

diodao presents her views on the dynamics of the Steem blockchain, responding to @golden-rain's comment lamenting the “inequality” he sees regarding the rewards earned by authors. It all started with golden-rain's article that won a contest but received fewer rewards than similar posts that he referred to as copy-paste.

It's a melancholy piece about the growing desolation of small villages, in this case a historical region of Spain that fans of Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote will probably recognize. According to the author, juancar347, travellers will more often find closed doors which is the theme of his photos. No less than 7 photos are attached to this post and all depict silence melancholy and lonely, as if to emphasize the text. Not because people eventually “return to dust”, but because young people are more interested in pursuing a life in the capital that offers more opportunities and the temptations of the modern world.

I read the discussion and I think that you do have your concerns about the topic.

The reward system on Steem is indeed something complicated. If on YouTube and TikTok, people point to the nose of the algorithm, then on Steemit, it is much more complicated. Sometimes it's a matter of luck, sometimes it's more than that. The creation of 7 SCs accounts after sc01 and sc02, I think is a brilliant idea to overcome this bit.

That's why I don't really think about rewards when doing activities on Steemit, it would be something exhausting, if I may use the word.

History was once my favorite topic. I was blogging about history, my tribe -Acehnese- history, especially, long before Steem, on blogspot. Now I just read a little about this and that.

If only all publications on Steemit were so informative, then Steemit would be alive.

Yes. That's interesting.

Thanks for commenting.
