Week 3 Official Report of team True Colours 2

1. Preface – The Plan, The Reality, The Joy

What is the plan if there's one?

The plan is to show creativity, that comments are worth writing and reading, that Europe does exist and next to that, we like to show all the faces of Steemit. This means that a daily check is needed and even in between voting. Can we make everyone happy? No. Most countries have their curators rewarding posts so all we can do is look further and search in communities most SCs neglect.

If it comes to commenting: What we feared turns out to be true and at times it is frustrating that many communities we visit are not good for one single comment! How sad is that? The reason is not because another SC team upvoted but because the members post and leave. We keep searching but to be honest, if we notice what is rewarded generously the question arises if we should not reward those who deserve it for a second, third, fourth or fifth time, those Steemians who keep writing, and commenting no matter if they are rewarded just because they like to be on this platform. Is it fair to be rewarded for investing in Steemit?

This is the report on the implementation of curation activities by team 5 in statistical form.

2. The Statistics

henryclive submitted this piece as an entry for a writing contest held by freewritehouse. Through his writing, henryclive transforms the classic premise of “Polar Express” into a satirical story full of dark humor and unexpected twists. The author tries - and succeeds - in creating a contrasting atmosphere between the expectation of Christmas magic and the absurd and chaotic reality. The humor is sharp and crude, poking fun at the traditional norms of children's stories by putting in rude characters, snide dialogue, and a plot that veers away from the magic of Christmas. It's a pretty “rough” satire but that's why it's so interesting.

It's a simple story, but it's a colorful and fun story about a foreign tourist's experience at a cafe in Madrid, Spain. It's not very long but the author, fajrularifst, has meticulously managed to mix and portray quirky and memorable characters, an interesting atmosphere, a hint of culture and a philosophical message in a light-hearted narrative.

A slightly poetic style of language combines with poetic prose and crime narrative in this short piece by almaguer. The main point of the story is the narrator's professional duties as a crime investigator and his obsession with a woman who keeps haunting his mind. So, there, the author combines elements of poetry, romance, crime, and the narrator's inner struggle between them. The story is so concise that some things don't find their end or climax, but as a concept, readers can find an interesting foundation for a crime romance in this short piece. Perhaps we will see a fuller version of this story in the future.

This comment is the culmination of a series of cicisaja comments under the Steem SEA community activity report article, which covers several themes, especially about life on the Steem blockchain and the dynamics in it. Cicisaja is an old steemian, back again and actively commenting just like she used to do. She wrote that Steemit could be a more fun platform, a place where people like to be.

To end his series of comments, yoghurty as the author has succeeded in communicating his ideas about efforts to strengthen the Steem blockchain, especially regarding the nature of its use as a staking and blogging blockchain. Although the author in a certain sense is able to represent Steemians in seeing and feeling the problems that still exist, the sense of optimism and trust in Steem is also very strong.

The personal approach taken by the writer, netflixr, makes the reader of this movie review get closer to the writer as well as the movie he is reviewing, especially from his perspective as a movie enthusiast. The content is quite detailed with a deep focus on the core story of the series adapted from Alexandre Dumas' famous classic novel. And at the end of the story, the author comes out with a firm recommendation, of course with a warning to potential viewers about what to expect.

This is a comment submitted by serdak in response to a challenge in a drawing contest with a human ear theme run by tezzmax. Artists on Steemit have come together in the ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱ community and they regularly do contests like this to support each other.

Oohh... I have no idea that you have to report this too. Accountable check 👍 do you remember how i found you in the past? It's through a project called pay it forward 😆 to win the prize, i must hunt for the great post (but not comments at that time) to promote the authors.

But that's a contest. What you do now is better because it's belongs to the pool rewards. And we can count on smart, diligence and sharp people like you and kitty, so far, your choices are fine.

Thanks for nominate someone like me😁 we can make the threads of comments longer when we're on the mood to discuss. Anyway, birds with same feathers flock together, I need to do my round later. Thanks the team on my behalf 🙌
