Business Activity Diary |25-06-2022| My involvement today in culture and tradition in my father's land.

Good evening my wonderful community and my great friends, it's been a while, happy weekend, hope your day went well. It is my pleasure to share my today's activities with you, it will be very interesting to take you round some of the culture and traditional display in my area.

Culture as the art and human intellectual activity is one of the most common event that brings people from all works of live together for the objective of harmony and unity. Both the young and old like coming together to embrace the art whenever it is displayed, and I also like to promote it since it enhances peace and unity among the locals. Below is the cerena dance group.

Cerena dance is one of the most popular dance that is always display on a traditional event such as marriage, child dedication reception, naming ceremony, sports competition, Chieftaincy title's ordination, birthday etc. The cultural arts is generally perform by both the male and female gender without any restriction of age. The people that carriedout the art as seen in the pictures were practicing today in preparation for tomorrow's event and I was happy seeing them dancing with their beautiful costume, so i decided to show them some love by offering some drinks and snacks from a nearby shop.

The importance of culture can never be over emphasize, as I mentioned earlier, culture promote peace and unity among the people and it also promote the economy growth of the State as many foreigners moved in to watch the art by so doing patronising some businesses around and also paying tax to the government.

Cultural display contribute very immensely to our health. Laughing and smiling reduces the tendency of having some diseases like high blood pressure, when we are watching or participating in a cultural art, we have fun and happiness and this is paramount to good health as shown by the medical science.

As we can see in today's world that entertainment pays even more than most of the business of buying and selling of goods, such as the footballers and musicians etc. They are people who make a living in the cultural arts, they put all their time and effort to stand out. Below is the owner of Cerena dance group and he is doing very well in his career.

During my interview with the CEO of Cerena dance group, he said that he charges ₦20,000 (200 steem) pay hour in an event. Though it varies depending on the location and the nature of event.

Culture and tradition should never be forgotten in our society because it plays a vital role in peace and unity of the people, it also contribute positively to our economy growth.
