@Shanadesign | Presentation of my design and restoration undertaking

It is a pleasure for me to be in the community presenting the Shana Design venture, a personal brand, honoring its creator.

This project began a few years ago, starting in Venezuela, where we did not have the resources and therefore the necessary materials and space. From the beginning we have worked from home, taking care of customer requests through the internet.

We are currently in Colombia-Medellín, a country that has given us the opportunity to grow and to acquire essential materials, to give customers greater options in a variety of designs and quality.

The venture consists of several activities:

Restoration of clothing: as the word restoration indicates, it is to give a new life to a garment, either because it has been stained, because it is torn, or deteriorated by the time of use. Perhaps we have clothes in our closets that have already gone out of style or that we do not like to use today, it is for this reason that the restoration technique is one of the most used today because it allows us to convert old and torn garments into current ones. and pretty.

Design: when we use the term design, we imagine both manual and digital drawings or sketches, in this case Shana Design has been working with designs from the imagination, that is, what we have in mind we take directly to the fabric or garments without need to do physical designs before, however, it is important to note that we do not rule out the idea of ​​being able to make physical designs, as the business progresses, because this would facilitate even more the choice of our clients. Our design is also based on attaching accessories to the different pendants, according to the demands and style of each person, such as decorative pearls.

Dressmaking: creating a garment is a process that can range from the easiest to the most complex. At the beginning of the project, we used to sew by hand when things were simple or pay a tailor to do the work when the garment required it. Today with all the effort we have made, we obtained a family machine, which was a super necessary tool for this project, and which has made the work less complex and of higher quality.

Painting on canvas: this is one of the most interesting activities of this endeavor and the one that requires the most work, concentration and care, but it is a wonderful art.

It consists of stamping freehand garments, t-shirts, pants, cloth shoes, among others. In general, these garments are unicolored, clients give us the basic garments and we transform them with drawings, we can even restore stained garments, stamping them over the stain. To carry out painting on canvas we need; paints for fabric, brushes of various sizes, a square of cardboard, wood or even plastic, but that is flat and a size almost equal to that of the garment, to be placed inside it and that the side does not get paint stained that we don't want to paint.

Dyeing with Iris: Apart from fabric painting, we implement other techniques, one of them is dyeing with Iris, Wiwi Wiwi, or Caballito, which is a dye for clothes. To paint a garment with irises we need: The Iris dye or whatever it is called in your country, salt, a large pot where the garment looks good and water. It is mostly used to dye pants in a uniform way, either to change the color or to enliven their natural color and you can also do different printing techniques, such as tie dye which means tie dyeing and is one of the most cooked and famous all over the world.

Like every entrepreneur, the goal of Shana Design is to be able to expand this business, so that it will soon have a place in a commercial premises, it is for them that we want to make it known, that now our payments are also in cryptocurrencies, received to our Wallet, securing the commitment we are finally making today. Being part of Steemit and accepting payments in cryptocurrencies, steem, and sbd is something new for us, but we are aware that it is a change for the better.
