Today we start on our Steemit page this new section dedicated to sharing with all of you the most popular and exquisite recipes, made with coffee and other ingredients. In this edition we are going to teach you how to make a delicious bonbon coffee, whether you have an espresso machine or not. This drink is very loved by coffee lovers who love sweet drinks, it is also in great demand in coffee shops to liven up those rainy afternoons.
Bombon coffee is a hot drink made with sweetened condensed milk, espresso coffee and a touch of microfoam in a 1: 1: 1 ratio, that is, equal parts for each ingredient. This drink must be served in a glass to be able to observe the separation of the three ingredients as a result of the difference in densities.
We will start the elaboration of our bonbon coffee preparing the espresso coffee, this time we have an espresso machine, which allows us to obtain a very intense drink with body or high density. As in all espresso preparation, we must place the ground coffee, with fine grinding, in the filter holder of the machine, then do the tamping with the correct pressure and place it in the machine to obtain our extraction.
We will use a two-outlet filter holder to obtain a doppio espresso coffee, that is, approximately 2 ounces. After the extraction and the proper cleaning of the machine and workstation, we will place our espresso coffee in a jar of those used to make the latte art. This will facilitate the pouring into our glass container, in this way we will not create turbulence and the definition of the phases will be more exact.
In case we do not have an espresso machine at home, we can use a Greca or Moka type coffee machine to obtain our black coffee, if we do not have one, we will make a filtered coffee with a greater amount of coffee so that it is with more body or viscosity.
To serve our preparation we will use this transparent glass, which has a capacity of 6 Oz, here we will place 2Oz of sweetened condensed milk, 2 oz of espresso, 2Oz of micro foam. Aasi we will obtain the exact ratio 1: 1: 1. In addition to being transparent, we can see the separation of the three phases, which makes it very striking.
Now we will place the two ounces of condensed milk, we will try to do it slowly and with a lot of pulse, always aiming at the center of the glass, this so that it does not splash and dirty the edges of the glass.
Then we will place the espresso coffee that we had already prepared and resting in the latte art jug, in this case we will incline it and place it touching the edge of the glass cup and very slowly, so as not to create turbulence that affects the aesthetics of the preparation.
In this case we will be using whole milk, from a recognized brand in my country, we have already worked with it before and we know that it gives good results as well as having good sweetness and flavor. This milk must be cold before making the cream, so I recommend after buying it to keep it in the fridge at more or less 4 ° C.
After the milk is cream, we will take microfoam with a spoon and place the remaining two ounces on top of our espresso coffee, this was approximately three tablespoons. Hooray, our drink is beginning to look very good!
We are almost finished, it only remains to make the final decoration, this can be done with cinnamon powder, cocoa powder or chocolate syrup. Here you can make use of your imagination, making artistic combinations that embellish and improve the presentation of our drink. In this opportunity, use chocolate syrup and take the opportunity to personalize the drink by placing the name and logo of the Steem cryptocurrency. How did it look?
And good coffee lovers, after decorating there is nothing else to do, if not to taste our beautiful and delicious drink. For this we must mix the ingredients with a teaspoon, I know that many will say no, but it is the only way to taste it, hehehe, in order to obtain consistency and uniformity in the flavors.
