Channel "F" Creative Contest of the Week: Two Words, One Story: Tortoise and Power.
Introduction
Greetings, Steemians, from the "Channel F" Community, which welcomes you to this new contest that is about literal creativity.We were all kids, and our parents usually narrated us stories from an original source or created them from their imaginations.
As we grew up, some of us tend to have kids to whom we needed to narrate stories. Here comes our creative contest, "Two Words, One Story."
Mechanics
It is quite easy for you because you are not limited to a specific topic. Here, you are given two words and are going to create a story from them. The story needs to be coherent and follow a regular timeline. The story can have a happy ending, sad ending; it can be mysterious or hilarious, but it must obey the theme. The two words of this week are Tortoise and Power. Here is an example to inspire you as you create your story.
| Once upon a time in a beautiful village named Orlanda where mysterious creatures live, one of those creatures was a tortoise called Cedricos. The tortoise had a curious nature and always liked to play around with his friends. One morning, the tortoise Cedricos went to a nearby forest while playing with his friends and saw an old abandoned house. Being curious by nature, he decided to enter the old house, although his friends warned him not to. In the dark old house, he saw an enchanted flute, which he blew into and inherited mysterious powers from the spell cast on it. With the new power he gained, he also gained a curse, which was to remain forever young. That is where the quest of Cedricos the Tortoise and his powers started… |
