Ithaqa Comic Issue 1 Page 8 + A Campaign Update

We crossed 80 "follows" on Kickstarter, which means we're looking very good right now for March 16th. By the end of our campaign in 2019 we had 166 backers, we haven't even launched officially yet, and we got 80+ who have opted in to pay attention. The work we've done collecting emails has been fruitful too, we have nearly 300 logged emails through our website. Lastly - in 2019 we pulled in two articles, one in Hoboken and one in Ithaca - this time out we're looking at at least 4 print publications, 3 radio interviews, and also - we've got a freaking book tour set in the middle of the whole thing.

This has been a multi-year project, and every year we hope we've built enough momentum to get this thing viral enough to attract a serious publisher, (or at least enough new readers to keep funding our independent publishing).

Last thing, we've been accepted onto the Comixology marketplace! It will take a few more weeks for them to officially list us, but very soon Ithaqa will be available on your tablet/ e-reader

Hey all, you can check out our Kickstarter pre-launch page below. We need to raise money to finish the art for Issue 3, which I will of course post here for everyone to see at every stage of completion. If you could hit the "notify me at launch" button that would be a huge help because it will make our comic show up more frequently in their search algorithms.

The more people we draw in on Kickstarter, the more people I can direct towards steemit, so please help me out!

Log an email on our website and we'll draw you as a 1920's investigator or cultist, you get to choose! There are going to be four more winners (one a week) and the pool I'm drawing from is only about 40 emails deep, so you've got very good odds of being drawn - and then drawn, haha.

To those of you who are actually reading this, do you understand how communities work? I read the whitepaper but it seemed to just state that they exist, and not how to use them? Tags seem different now too, still trying to re-orient myself...

Steemit is still mentioned heavily in my press releases, and I have many interviews lined up, so hopefully, we can snag a few more steemers while I'm at it. I'm sure plenty of college students at an art school are gonna be excited to find out they can get PAID for their creativity :)
