Because for my mistake i post Chapter 7 in 10/08/2024

Elara and Norwin prepared for their journey with a sense of grim determination. They gathered tools, charms, and ancient maps from the hidden archives, each item a relic of the Clockmaker's long-forgotten battles. The air was thick with the weight of their task, and the ticking of the Heart of Time seemed to grow more erratic with each passing hour.

"Where do we start, Master?" Elara asked, securing a small satchel filled with gears and vials of oil.

Norwin unfolded a map on the workbench, its edges frayed and yellowed with age. "Aelor has always been drawn to places where time is weakest," he explained, pointing to a dark forest on the map's edge. "There are rumors of an ancient clocktower deep within these woods, abandoned for centuries. It was said to be a sanctuary for those who sought to manipulate time. If Aelor is anywhere, it will be there."

Elara felt a shiver run down her spine. The forest was a place of legends, a place where travelers lost their way and where time itself was said to bend and twist. "But how do we get there? The forest is vast, and the clocktower could be hidden anywhere."

Norwin’s eyes gleamed with a fierce determination. "That’s where your skills come in, Elara. The clocks in this town are all connected to the Heart of Time. If you can attune yourself to its rhythm, you may be able to guide us. Feel for the irregularities, the disruptions in time’s flow. They’ll lead us to Aelor."

Elara swallowed her fear and nodded, placing her hand on the Heart of Time. She closed her eyes, tuning out everything but the rhythmic ticking. At first, she felt only the erratic beats, like a heart struggling to maintain its pulse. But gradually, she sensed something else—a faint pull, a thread of time stretching out beyond the workshop, beyond the town, leading into the depths of the dark forest.

"I can feel it," she whispered, her voice tinged with awe. "It’s faint, but it’s there."

Norwin smiled, though it didn’t reach his eyes. "Good. Then we have a chance."

As they set out into the night, the town behind them seemed to hold its breath. The path ahead was fraught with danger, and Elara knew that the journey would test her in ways she couldn’t yet imagine. But she also knew that the fate of time itself rested in their hands.

With the map in hand and the Heart of Time's pulse guiding them, they stepped into the forest, the darkness closing around them like a shroud. The clocktower—and Aelor—awaited.
