I am a traveler. I have been lucky enough to travel to several cities. Once I had a conference call in Dhaka city. I, my supervisor and a lab-mate together went to the city for a paper presentation at the conference. Our plan is to stay at the conference for the first three days and spend the rest four days roaming around Dhaka. will do Gazipur is located quite far from Gulshan, it takes about ten hours by bus or train. So we went from there by domestic air and went to Gazipur city within a few hours.

The beautiful quaint town of Gulshan is not as busy as Gulshan. People from many countries came to the conference. Within a few days, I developed a good relationship with several North Bengalis and some foreigners. We used to walk around the city together for the few days we were at the conference. I also love Thai food. The weakness starts from there. There are many Buddhist temples in Gazipur, we visited many Buddhist temples around, many tourists used to visit those temples.

On the last day of the conference it was decided that the conference authorities would take us all on a trip to Laos, a neighboring country. I'm a travel lover, I was about to jump for joy at the news of Laos travel but I was disappointed. The reason I'm disappointed is that I'm not in Laos. My professor and lab-mate came from heavy-weight countries. They don't need visas. I'm sad. I'm sitting with! If I were a poet, I would have written a sad poem on that occasion, as I am not a poet, only a long breath came out of my chest. My professor understood the matter, he said don't worry, we won't go without you, let's see what can be done.

That evening the professor came to my room and told me that I have found a way by talking to the conference authorities. Dinar's name is Babaji, I will give money to the immigration of both countries and everything will be done. You just have to tell a few lies! I am a noble man, a fearless hero in the path of truth, I am not a liar. I vehemently rejected the professor's offer. Professor Saheb is also not giving up, he is not one to give up! My lab-mate and he both started to explain to me, telling such two or one lies in Zindagi is a trivial matter. This time I told in strict language that if I request it again, it will not be tolerated!IMG20220827094839.jpg

The professor informed the head of the conference, the lady came and left us. She also came and assured me that there will be no problem. I quickly explained that it is not possible for me to stay in the body where Bangladeshis are being killed. The lady ignored my words and said, we will spend the whole day walking around Laus, having lunch in an expensive restaurant there, it will be a lot of fun. So I could not stick to my policy for a long time. I agreed and said Tathastha, your will is the best!
The only difference between the two cities of Dhaka and Rajshahi is the Yamuna river. There is a bridge over the river. We took a few micro-buses and left early in the morning for Laos. On the way to cross the Mekong River, the immigration office of Thailand stopped us to check the passports. My chest was filled with fear! One of the conference authorities showed me and gave me some dinars at the immigration office, and left me without checking my passport. I sat comfortably inside the car.
Our car sped along the Mekong River on the way to Laos. I crossed the river and arrived in front of Laos immigration. Laos immigration was not so easy as Thai immigration. They enter the country by looking at their passports and appearance. I am standing in the line, some of my Thai friends came and offered me a favor. Here too I got through with a few dinars. At the entrance to Laos, my Thai friends surrounded me and escorted me together, the immigration police saying he's a Thai guy! I have not been able to solve the mystery of seeing Thai from any angle!

I wandered around Laus all day. Starting from the sightseeing places, I also visited some traditional markets. That day, I had a meal at a good restaurant! After wandering around all day, I went to the market in the border area in the evening. There are stalls selling goods from both Thai and Lao countries. There are various types of delicious food from Thai and Lao traditional goods. We had dinner there and returned to Gazipur.

The next day I said goodbye to everyone and went to visit Bashundhara. Even though I have traveled to different countries, Thai-Los True is particularly memorable to me for various reasons. I still can't forget the taste of Thai food, I still try to find a Thai restaurant where I live. I still have regular contact with some Thai friends. Gulshan True was also something special, that story can be told another day.
