The Diary Game III: 22/02/2023 - Visiting @yakspeace, going shopping together and working on the steemit platform

Hi steemians,
I'm delighted to share with you once my diary today. It's been a while since I come in contact with my dear friend @yakspeace. Immediately after we graduate from the university in June 2021, we all went our separate ways she was sent to Ilorin for her national service whereas I was sent to Nasarawa state.

We have stayed for about a year and 8 months without seeing each other. As of 23 February, I decided to visit her since it has been a while. The journey to IIorine is indeed a very hectic one that took me about 12 hours due to bad roads and spoiled vehicles. I arrived in Ilorin at about 10:00 pm on that faithful day.

As of 22 February, we decided to go out shopping in one of the major shopping centres close to her working place. This place is called the Martrite superstore. It's indeed a very large support store where you can get almost everything you need. We were unable to purchase a lot of things because of the cashless policy issues going on in Nigeria. The images below are a few pictures taken by me.

After our purchase, we decided to walk on foot to see the beauty of the state together. I saw a lot of good-looking places which I will be sharing with us all in no distant time here on my blog. We arrived home at about 5:00 pm, but there was no power supply hence I had to hurriedly go and search for where to charge my phone a little.

Immediately after charging the phone for a while, I decided to do a few works on the steemit. I was able to perform curation using my account and that of steem kids and parents. When I was done reducing the voting power for both accounts, I decided to publish the daily booming support post.

Before I could finish the entire work, @yakspeace had already prepared a very delicious meal for me and she brought it for me to eat. The picture of the food is seen in the image below. I ate very well because it has been a while ate her delicious meal.

Let's I forget, @yakspeace is a certified chef and she is good when it comes to preparing delicacies. So I enjoyed myself and after eating, we had a few discussions about ourselves and the steemit platform. In all, my visit today was indeed an amazing one. I will be staying here for a few more days before going back to my base in Nasarawa state.
