Trams and woolsteemCreated with Sketch.

We had finished our Talking Tram ride and decided to have a quick look at the Central Deborah Goldmine which is attached to the tram terminus. There is a tour of the mine that runs regularly, but we were running out of time and needed to move our car. Thus, we opted to have a browse around the several displays on the ground level which were free to view.
There was machinery, many information boards, buildings which served as miners' quarters and even a demonstration panning bed where you try your luck panning for gold. It was a bit of fun and a novelty to try.
Having to move our car, we took a short drive to the tram maintenance workshop yards, but they were closed, so we were unable to go in and have a look. The Bendigo Woollen Mills were just next door, so we popped in for a quick look. Saw their shop, which was a room full of balls of wool which did not interest us and as there was no tour, we moved on.
Enjoy the pics.
