Tasting Various Ready-to-eat Foods at the Tjemilin Cart

This afternoon my nephew and I went for a walk looking for delicious snacks in Takengon. As usual, if in the afternoon it is taken for sure what you are looking for is warm food. Well, this afternoon we visited the food stalls on the edge of the Takengon causeway. This cart reads Tjemilin. With good marketing techniques, colorful pictures of Corndogs are made on the posters, so that they attract customers and are curious to taste them.

Oh yes, I almost forgot to tell the location of this place to sell. The location is at the red light of the Takengon Police Station, right to the left of the red light. If we stop at a red light, we can see this cart on the left.

In this place, apart from a variety of Corndogs, there are also various other hawker menus, such as Chicken Ball, Odeng, Crispy Sodeng, Tofu Bakso Mercon, and many other menus that have been written on the menu list.

My nephew and I ordered Corndog with variant flavors of Greentea, Chocolate and Taro toppings. I bought Corndogs Mozzarela Crispy with Greentea flavor for IDR 10K, while my nephew ordered Corndogs Minimozza Crispy with Chocolate and Taro topping variants for IDR 15K. The size I ordered was very large, and we were very satisfied to eat it, for the mini size it is also not too small and in 1 Cup there are 3 Corndogs.

To get these 4 Corndogs we only paid IDR 25K, in my opinion this is very affordable with large portions and abundant toppings.

In addition to these Corndogs snacks, next to them there are also those selling drinks. To shorten the time we immediately ordered drinks at the grobak next door. There are lots of various drinks here, starting at IDR 5K - 15K. There are Boba and Non boba drinks available here, my nephew ordered Coppucino + Boba drinks and I ordered Redvelvet drinks without boba. Our total payment for drinks is IDR 20K.

Then we went straight to the park around the city, namely the Dimot Safe Monument, we enjoyed our afternoon and ate food there. I really like the taste of the Corndogs, in the Corndogs there is also a lot of Mozzarella cheese so that when you eat it the cheese melts and becomes elastic.

I highly recommend this food to you, and next time I want to try other menu variants that are here.
