My 3 Best Travel Moments
With the little time I have to travel, I make sure that I make them as memorable as possible. I have traveled to several places since I was born but I will share just 3 places and moments according to the dictates of this contest. I am glad to take part and I invite @mile16, @chant and @madilyn02 to join in this contest. Here is the contest link in case you missed it.
Just last December, I traveled to my village with my kids for the first time ever since after my marriage. This is close to 15 years that I got married and my kids never for a day slept in my village. There are reasons for that but all the same, I got the chance to travel with them. It was the best moment so far so long as my travels are concerned.
The name of my village where I traveled is Ndi Ebe Abam](///radiography.pined.midgets) in Arochukwu Local Government, Abia State. It was really never panned but it happened at the dying minute that we all should make the journey. From my city of residence to my village is about 4 hours journey if one is going by public transportation. But with a private vehicle, it will take just 3 hours. The reason is because there is no straight vehicle to my village from my city of residence. Traveling to my village on public transportation will mean that one will take about 3 different transport fare. One to take you to the capital city of Abia State and the next will take you to the junction close to my village while the last will be motor bike that will take you to your doorstep.
The map below shows the direction from the junction that the last vehicle will drop you which is known as Ndioji-ugwo Abam to my final destination.
My village is very rich in Natural resources and they have fertile lands to the extent that a portion of land that is used for planting this year by the community will not be used in the next 4 years. They rotate the farm lands because they have it enough.
They are great farmers. They are known for growing rice, maze, yam, palm fruits and others.
The people are hospitable and they have rich cultural heritage.
We happened to travel at a time of masquerade festival. One was paraded the same day we traveled and we all went to the village square to view it. The masquerade usually come out towards evening and no one is allowed to take pictures of it unless from a distance. But we took pictures at the village square
Visiting the Igwu river, my late father's rice farm land, and the proposed Parm plantation land of my family made the travel exiting.

It was a wonderful moment to me and my kids. Till today, my kids still talk about their experiences and yearn to visit again which we will definitely visit because this time around, my brother in the USA will also visit with his family. We can't wait.
The next on this list of my travel moments was when I went for a wedding of one of my friends. She is a dear one to me and she informed of her wedding and of the need for me to be there.

Weddings are usually exciting on their own and then traveling for it adds to the excitement.
The place was Lenzor Hotels, Besides CIWA Ezendioma Ass, Ukwa West LGA, Abia State.
I traveled the same day of the wedding along with other friends from my city of residence. When we got there, we waited for the wedding to start and it finally started. The two love birds were finally joined in holy Matrimony and the reception took place at the same vanue.
What is more exciting about this moment is the friends I met there. Some were long time and old friends and other were new. The marriage went well as everyone danced and wined together. We witnessed the couple feed themselves and dance together. It was a joyous occasion that I can not quickly forget.
The vanue was very nice. It has both hospitality and event spaces. The environment was not noisy. It was a wonderful place for such even in that locality.

Just recently, I and my family travelled to Aba on a holiday. My kids had told their uncle that they will like to visit for a week or more and he accepted. But I also had a need to visit the same city to do a kind of Refreshment course on production business. So I decided to wait and travel with them.
Guess what? It was a very memorable travel because we were able to visit our old friends that we left some 4 years ago.
Aba is a city where we lived for a long time. I got married there and gave birth to my both kids there. I even finished my education there as well. We knew a lot of people there.
We visited the ones we could especially the land lady of the house where we lived for more than 15 years. She was very happy to see us and especially the kids. We enjoyed the kilishi and malt drink that she offered us and we had wonderful moment with her.
We also visited our dear Brothers and sisters in the congregation that we worshipped Jehovah before we left. The kids also saw their kid friends and we all had encouraging association together. I can't forget that day in a hurry.

Out travel took us a week and 4 days. I was able to visit my immediate elder sister who is @madilyn02's mother. Even the kids spent 2 days with her and enjoyed her gifts. It was great.
I also was able to learn all that I went there to learn. I also signed up a user, @confambliss who happened to be my senior in secondary school. We were good friends.

I practiced what I learned there, I produced perfumes, tablet soap, and other things. I sold some there and gave out some to family members. The memory is still ringing in my mind right now.
Aba is a city that I love so much because it's a business city. I started my entrepreneurship their and it was moving very well. As a family, we started life there.
When it comes to travelling and having wonderful travel moments, I am part of it. It is one of the things I enjoy the most. I am glad to have shared wonderful travel moments that I enjoyed. I am planning to travel again and I know I will even enjoy it the more.

Your first travel during last December should be the best Travel here because I see it's the Travel that enable your kids to see their moms village for their first time ever. It was also very important to you as you could also use the opportunity to visit your village after donkey years
