A Trip To My Village!

It's my first time writing here, I trust you're just fine wherever you are, and I wish you a fruitful week ahead! Today I want to share a trip to my village Mbierebe Akpawat Ibesikpo Asutan LGA Akwa Ibom State with you.

My parents invited us, and everything was awesome 😎 we left as early as 7:30 in the morning, getting up from bed we had our morning worship then I packed our traveling bag, I picked a few dresses which we will change up, carry our flipflops, baby's formula and some food stuff for my parents we showered and began our journey!
I traveled with my hubby and kids in a car, the journey was smooth and enjoyable! After riding for 30Mins with an average speed of 80km/hour we finally arrived at my village.

My village is not too far from my home, we met my Dad at home but Momma was at a nearby farm weeding, I was looking around the compound. My parents are rearing Goats 🐐 I took some pictures of them, they're looking healthy and well-fed! My Dad made a Shed for them to live in.
I later went to the farm to see my Mom, goodness the farm is so big! It reaches like 1 hectare of land, she was weeding and some of her friends came around to help her. She was so happy to see us, she planted cassava and pumpkin on the land.
My siblings arrived when I came out from the farm, and we were so happy to meet after a while, we were catching up and cooking began right away! Dad kill a goat for us to prepare our local delicacies.
We prepare one of our local desserts 🍪 called a diet, and ate it with cola 🥤 drinks it was so yummy 😋.
We prepared goat meat pepper soup and ate It with Palmy 🌴 aka Palm wine, one of my brothers-in-law brought the Palm wine and it was so sweet, it was 20 liters and we finished everything. Haha 😂
Then we cooked our local meals Afia Efere soup, and afang soup. The meal was sumptuous! We ate together 💪 and we really enjoyed ourselves! We shared the remaining soup among ourselves.
The kids enjoyed themselves, they were playing and jumping around, then in the evening I bathed all of them, we gathered together and worship God, we sing praises to God and prayed too, they were an interchange of encouragement!
We traveled back home by 8 in the evening, and I was so tired, so I simply retired for the day. Thanks for reading me!

It's nice that you share your traditions with us and I hope you will post more content because personally, I'm also curious to know about some places to see in your country that don't have to be super touristy but maybe something traditional.

আপনার অসম্ভব সুন্দর একটা ভ্রমন কাহিনী পড়লাম। চমৎকার ও সাবলীল বিবরন পড়তে বেশ ভালো লাগলো। আমার বাবার সাথে খুব মিল পেলাম।আপনার বাবা ছাগল আপনাদের খাবারের জন্যে রান্নার ব্যবস্থা করেছে। আমার বাবা অবশ্য বাড়িতে পোষা হাঁস এর ব্যবস্থা করে আমার জন্যে।আপনি সৌভাগ্যবতী কারন আপনি পরিবার থেকে মাত্র তিরিশ মিনিটের দুরত্বে বাস করেন। বাবা মার একটু কাছাকাছি থাকতে পারাটা বেশ মজার। আপনি নিজে মা হয়েছেন সন্তান বয়সে বড় হয়ে নিজে সংসার করলেও আপনার মন চাইতে পারে সন্তান যেনো দুরে কোথাও না যায় আপনার একটু কাছাকাছি থাকে। আপনার খাবারের ছবিগুলো দেখে আমি সত্যিই আনন্দ পেয়েছি। ছাগলের স্যুপটা দেখে রেসিপি জানতে ইচ্ছে হলো। কারন খাবারটা দেখতে স্বাস্থ্যকর। ডায়েট দিয়ে কোলা খাবার ইচ্ছে আছে। আপনারা তাল গাছের রস বা ওয়াইন খেতে পছন্দ করেন আমরাও সেটা খাই যাকে তাড়ি বলে। তবে খেজুরের ওয়াইন বা রস আমার দেশে বেশি পছন্দের। তালের রস থেকে গুড় হয় এবং খেজুরের রস থেকেও গুড় হয় যা পিঠা তৈরি থেকে অনেক কাজেই লাগে।বিশ লিটার ওয়াইন খেয়েছেন মানে সবাই মিলে একটা বিরাট আনন্দ করেছেন।আপনাদের বিশাল কুমড়ো আর ক্যাসাভা এর চাষ প্রকল্প জেনে ভালো লেগেছে। আমি নিজে উদ্ভিদ বিজ্ঞানের ছাত্র। কৃষি হলো রাষ্ট্রের মেরুদন্ড। ক্যাসাভা খুবই উপকারী একটি শস্য। আর চেষ্টা করবেন আপনার বাচ্চাদের কুমড়োর বীজ ভেজে একটু নুন সহকারে খাওয়াতে। এটা একটা সুপার ফুড।আপনার গ্রাম সুন্দর। আচ্ছা ডায়েট কি তেল চিনি আর আটা দিয়ে ভেজে তৈরি হয়? আমার আসলে আপনার লেখাটা দেখে এতো ভালো লেগেছে পারলে এই মুহুর্তে আমি সেখানে ভ্রমন করতাম। আপনার সাবলীল লেখার জন্যে ধন্যবাদ। আরো লেখা আশা করছি। আপনার পিতামাতার প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা জানাচ্ছি। আপনাকে ও আপনার পরিবারের সকলকে শুভকামনা। বেশি বেশি ভ্রমন করবেন। আনন্দ করবেন আর বেশি করে যেনো সেই লেখা পড়তে পারি এই আশায় রইলাম।
