Thank you for commenting. Oh yes, Horta is a lovely city where one does feel the presence of active sailors and seamen. I really enjoyed walking the streets too. The architecture is beautiful, even some of the houses are old. But what amazed me the most were all those paintings done by sailors who has had a stop over. They tell the story of the crew crossing the Atlantic.
For sure such artistic paintings are having their own story and that's why they have charms. ✨ Just like the ones from Uruguay where the official account of ST did publish your article in Twitter:

To me it looked like as if they are making a painting telling where they come from, where they are going, who is the crew etc. That made it very interesting to look at them. I am not on twitter, so I didn't notice my article from Uruguay was published there. Thank you for letting me know :)
