On the occasion of a happy day, I chose to travel to attend the invitation of my uncle's son or brother's Circumcision, Seniantara Village, Karajut Hamlet, Permata District, Bener Meriah Regency. • Preharvest Coffee

Usually coffee trees (almost all coffee farms in the world) begin to produce coffee flowers in May every year. This coffee flower then spends approximately 9 months before producing coffee cherries. Over the course of 9 months the coffee flower develops and slowly forms into a coffee cherry. At this stage the farmer must really pay attention to the flowers. The coffee tree must be constantly cleaned of the surrounding grass pests. Also the weather will affect the cherry yield. Rain that comes too often can affect the number of coffee cherries later in the day. • Process

Harvesting coffee is very tiring by picking coffee beans one by one by choosing which ones can be harvested, and following up by grinding the coffee beans so that they are separated from the beans so that you can see the coffee beans by inserting them into the grinder.

Finished put into the milling machine. Then, it is continued by drying and pulling the sun in the field so that the coffee is dry. the drying period to dry the coffee beans can take time (1 day or 2 days) when the sun is hot, and if the sun is not hot it can take time (4 days or 5 days).

This process is very commonly used in Indonesia and Brazil. In this process, the mucus attached to the horn skin is removed by putting the seeds in a sack for 12-24 hours. When stored in this sack, the mucus of the coffee cherries will begin to peel off. The semi-wash process will produce rough coffee beans, not slippery and slimy anymore. Then the coffee beans are rinsed with water and start the drying process. The semi-wash process will reduce the sour taste of the coffee beans.
