Hello everyone, good afternoon come back with me here at the food photography contest held by the @steemjapan community. This time I will review a food at a Banda Aceh restaurant. A food called white elephant fried rice.

When I returned from Lamno Jaya, I stopped at several places in Banda Aceh City, Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Lampuuk Beach, and of course restaurants. "White Elephant", the name of the restaurant we chose. One of the waiters here is a friend of mine from elementary school. There are many food and drink menus available here. When we saw the Red Fried Rice menu we were interested in ordering it.

As you know, there are many kinds of fried rice, there are goat fried rice, seafood fried rice, salted fish fried rice, chicken fried rice, and other variations of fried rice.

Of the many kinds of fried rice, there is red fried rice typical of Makassar (Indonesia). As the name implies, this culinary is different from most fried rice which is brown in color. The bright red color makes this fried rice look unique.

When served, the appearance of this fried rice is very interesting and of course the taste is also unique. It's not a loss for us to order this rice.

He said "the red color comes from a special tomato sauce. Actually, you can use bottled tomato sauce as a coloring agent, but usually bottled sauce doesn't taste right". So usually use homemade tomato sauce that comes from tomato juice.
