Hamburgers, fast food in America, delicacy in Japan. The best burgers I've ever had have been in Tokyo and the best burger I've has in America was at a Japanese restaurant called Umami Burger.

I've come to realize that the ingredients, besides the hamburger, are also very important to making a great burger. The bun should be lightly toasted and preferably with a glaze and sesame. Additionaly different kinds of onions, lettuces and cheeses affect the overall flavor. A good hamburger, like a wagyu burger, is incredible.
