The Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a statue introduced by way of the French human beings as a present to the United States of America in 1886. The statue is standing on (Liberty Island) contrary the entrance to the port of New York City. It contains a torch signifying the welcome of newcomers.
The statue is of a female carrying a gown and preserving the torch of freedom in her proper hand, and in her left hand a brochure engraved in Latin on July 4, 1776, which is the date of American independence. She places a crown on her head from which 7 rays rise, symbolizing the seven continents of the world, and she is standing on a horrible base. The statue is forty six meters long, from the two legs to the pinnacle of the flame.
