The DiaryGame: "Yey! It's FLYDAY!" by @kyrie1234
Ohayou Gozaimasou steemians.
Today, is the first week of the opening of class for the school year 2020-2021. But before this week, there were lots of misunderstandings between the admin and the teachers brought by transfering our workplace to Elementary School near our working station. Yes! We need to pack our things, and transfer to the said venue because our school was used by the LGU as an isolation center of those healing patients from hospitals who got covid and needed to be quarantine. Due to changes of plans from the admin from time to time, it cause teachers to react. But at the end of the day, before the opening of the class everything was settled and everyone was able to burst their emotions through a conference made by our principal.
Before monday, I see to it I was able to conduct my Class Orietation with the students and parents virtually so that I can instruct them my rules and regulations in claiming and passing their answers. I alro told them what to bring during distribution of modules and what were the steps in distribution to avoid contact tracing and I see to it that the protocol was properly observed. We started the meeting at 7:30 in the evening because that's the only time that my studen's parents were available especially those who were working.
On the very first day, that was Monday, September 13, 2021 I then woke up early so I can go to school at 7am. When I am already in school, I immediately clean my classroom and prepare the venue for the distribution. I started the distribution at 8am and ended at 12 noon.
Then the remaining days of the week that was tuesday-friday, we sorted the 2nd set of modules in preparation of our second set distribution. While doing it, we had our phone on our side so that we can easily reply the queries of the students especially to the topics they can't understand.
And as a Math teacher, in which Math is considered as one of the difficult subjects that needs teachers to assist, I see to it that they understood the topic even when I am not on their side. So, I made a video tutorial via youtube so that the students can somehow understand little things.
Please click the video for my sample video tutorial.
And I am so thankful because upon sharing the youtube link on my fb account, I received many good comments from students, parents, titas and titos from my video tutorial.
And it reaches 74 shares on my shared link in fb. It only means that they really needed the tutorial. And I am so grateful and happy because in my own little way I was able to help the young minds in this trying times.
YEY! IT'S FLYDAY!
Because of the tiresome first week, the grade 9 full force together with @fabio2614, @bisayakalog, and @rosevillariasa decided to had a lunch together as a team for congratulating ourself for surviving the first week of opening of class.
And we orders the following menu:
The Famous Lumpia
The Delicious Bam-I
The Nilat-ang Baboy
Plus softdrinks, banana and ginamos.
We really had a great time together and at the same time we were able to relax after the whole week of sorting the modules.
That would be all for now. I am inviting @fabio2614, @abby0207, and @bisayakalog to also share their experience here in this community.
Til then!
