I already thought you work like that and the hashtag #worldbuilding could be used by you. I am not sure if they are still on Steemit. Therevare webnovels and the Freewriters wrote novels while using the daily prompt. They joined the, by now wotld famous) writing movement #nanowrimo for several years.

It's about 2500 words per day. I did it with my phone.

Yes. I knew about nanowrimo, recently, as well as about reedsy and some other out of google and I chose steemit as a nest for my writing, for a number of reasons. Also, I don't feel like I have time for two simultaneous platforms at the moment, and writing a novel isn't my specific objective. For the moment, I'm feeling good around here, as I can explore diverse writing themes without any particular compromise. :) Thanks for the suggestion and your comment. :))

nanowrimo is more like writing a novel, setting a timer, upload if you like and other writers can advice you I wouldn't call that investing time in a platform but investing in yourself as a writer.
Steemit is more like social media.
With Reedsy it's possible to win writer's competitions although you have to pay for your entry.
