Meaning of Busy

Busy isn't the only way
When you meet someone with Chinese roots, they greet you with the expression:
Chulema?
or
have you eaten
Apparently this is because of the great famine during mao's rule who miscalculated grain reserves.

Similarly, we greet with "where are you going?”

In Nepal, even still in villages the problem is not famine but unemployment.

So whenever someone replies,"I'm going to office /shop", we think he's fine.

But if he replies,"Nowhere", we think he's in trouble like a Chinese
would reply," no I've not eaten”

This promoted the culture in Nepal to be "busy” earning or trying to earn money. This culture is reaching its peak & like the originators of this culture, that is the west, Nepalese people have forgotten how to enjoy "Relaxed Life": the pure one not depending on money earned from "Busy Life".
