Forbes 30 under 30 , Africa

In the social entrepreneurship today we had Mrs Shamim Nabuuma Kaliisa as our guest speaker. we had a discussion with her approx 1 hrs and she told us about her life journey and advantage of social entrepreneurship.
Dr Kaliisa is a citizen of Africa country of Uganda. She is 2020 Forbes 30 under 30.
She is the founder of CHIL artificial intelligence lab.During the presentation she told that
"We can earn handsome profit from traditional Business ". But now the situation is changed the concept of social entrepreneurship had come to the fore.
At present, the existing problems in the society are not only seen as an opportunity to make a profit but also as an opportunity to contribute to the society. Social entrepreneurship is a style of entrepreneurship that seeks out creative solutions to problems in society, or provides leadership, and works differently from others. Although not intended to be very profitable, social entrepreneurs tend to make reasonable profits and run their own profits.

Dr Kaliisa who has entered the field after overcoming the cancer, shared her experience of entrepreneurship. As a woman she was discourse by mistrust in some case but she she told us to move forward rather than making excuse.
