Can't sign up on steemit
I have heard this complaints several times and I have tried my own way to fix this issues but no avail. I I thought of bringing it to the table to discuss with everyone....... or am I the only one facing this. I tried hard to promote steemit in my area, both in my shop or when with my friends. Some of them begins to have interest in it and they ask for the registration link.
The user tried to sign up but he couldn't
You know where the problem lies? After they begins to sing up, the registration on the site requires signing up with Gmail and phone number. Now the after confirming the code from the Gmail, they waited for the second code from text message till eternity. What's happening to the registration portal? When I discuss it a friend of mine @emishael60, he sent me a new registration which i forward to them but still they are unable to sign up successfully. This incident has made me lose interest in promoting as people who are interested in writing can't register. Who we have a witness responsible to fix this? I think my vote on witness is not wasted...... Or is it? Please fix this error. I have waited for a month now and there's no improvement in it. Or am I missing something? @wakeupkitty do you have anything to say about this?
I still have new people who are asking for link to joined but how would I tell them that the registration is not working? I can't wait to see Lagos state Lecturer joining steemit, it will be my best steemit moments ever. What I thought I couldn't do all this while, I have been able to overcome it and it's done.

You can ask a friend with a Steemit account to open it for you, no need for email or phone.
Another option is using steemworld.org
The only thing I wonder about is if it has to do with our country.
I know back then it took me several tries and that damned email never arrived. I waited and waited and used different email addresses. The email for this account arrived 6 weeks later! By that time I was ready to give up.
The other account was easier I used the app Partiko for it, done within a few minutes. That app no longer exists.
If you can generate tickets with steemworld.org an account is easily made.
No mentor who can help you out?
What about someone that has not use steem World.
What do you mean? A newcomer has not steemworld since it's attached to your steemit account. Who introduced you? Or who do you know who can make an account.

There's a family man that's interesting, he's a lecturer. He called me to his home today, it seems him family is joining soon but the problem lies in registration. I could do it for them as I propone it tomorrow.
