Cracked foot: 5 Minute Freewrite
Andres walked for hours and hours in search of food, for his mother, his brother Moses and for him, it was not easy, he was dying of thirst and hunger, he knocked on doors and no one came to his aid. From so much walking one of his shoes broke and he had to walk with only one shoe, to such an extent that when he was near his house, he looked at his foot and it was cracked, the pavement and the hot ground cracked his right foot.
He returned home in despair, he could no longer stand to see his mother in bed, useless, unable to move his legs, he encouraged himself, he had to find something to do, to take care of his family, despite being 12 years old he was a very mature boy, he had not stopped studying, his goal was to graduate from high school and then go to college, and get an engineering degree, he wanted to be someone in life, to get his family out of misery.
One day he woke up very early and told his mother, "I'm going to look for a job:
-I'm going to look for a job. The young man was very cheerful and optimistic.
His mother looked him in the eyes and blessed him and a tear ran down her cheek, seeing how brave her son was. He knocked on several doors, but received no answer until a man coming out of a supermarket called him and asked him, "Are you looking for a job?
-Are you looking for work?" and he answered in a very slow manner:
-Yes sir, I need to work, I have a sick mother and a 3 year old brother that I have to support.
The handsome and elegant man took him by the hand and said:
-From today you will start coming to the supermarket part time, I am going to give you a scholarship, I am the owner of this mall, from today you will no longer be in need, I will make you a good man.
Andres showed gratitude to this humanitarian man, he was jumping for joy. The man ordered one of the employees to place food in a basket for Andres to take home and sent him in his vehicle with an employee to his house. That day Andres cooked for his mother and brother, crying with joy he told his mother and brother:
-Everything is going to change for the better, mother I will see you with the specialist to see if your disease has a cure, his mother was too happy. The days went by and Andres was doing very well working his mid-afternoon at the supermarket, the man bought him new clothes and shoes, he felt happy, he could not believe it.
Time went by and Andres became a good man, his mother got over the terrible illness she was suffering from, and they never suffered from misery and hunger again.

Andrés camino por horas y horas en busca de alimentos, para su madre , su hermano Moisés y para él, no fue fácil, moría de sed y de hambre, toco puertas y nadie salio en su auxilio. De tanto caminar uno de los zapatos se le rompió y tuvo que caminar solo con un zapato, a tal punto que cuando estaba cerca de su casa, miro su pie y lo tenía agrietado, el pavimento y lo caliente del suelo le agrietaron el pie derecho.
Regreso a su casa todo desesperado no aguantaba más ver a su madre en cama, inútil, sin poder mover sus piernas, él mismo se daba ánimos, que tenia que buscar que hacer, para atender a su familia, a pesar de tener 12 años era un niño muy maduro, no había dejado de estudiar, su meta era graduarse de bachiller para luego ir a la universidad, y obtener un titulo de ingeniero, quería ser alguien en la vida, para sacar de la miseria a su familia.
Un día se levanto muy temprano, le dijo a su madre:
-Voy en busca de trabajo. El joven estaba muy animado y optimista.
Su madre lo miro a los ojos le echo la bendición y una lagrima corrió por su mejilla, al ver lo valiente que era su hijo. Tocó varias puertas, y no recibió respuesta hasta que un señor que venia saliendo de un supermercado lo llamo y le pregunto:
-Estas en busca de trabajo? y el de una manera muy pausada le respondió:
-Si señor necesito trabajar, tengo a mi madre enferma y un hermano de 3 años que tengo que mantener.
El hombre apuesto y elegante, lo tomó de la mano y le dijo:
-Desde hoy comenzarás a venir al supermercado medio tiempo, te voy a dar una beca, soy el dueño de este centro comercial, a partir de hoy no pasaras mas necesidades, te haré un hombre de bien.
Andrés mostró gratitud ante ese hombre tan humanitario, saltaba de alegría. El hombre ordenó a uno de los empleados colocarle en una cesta alimentos para que Andrés llevará a su casa y lo envió en su vehículo con un empleado hasta su casa. Ese día Andrés cocino para su madre y su hermano , llorando de alegría le dijo a su madre y hermano:
-Todo va a cambiar para bien, madre te veré con el especialista a ver si tu enfermedad tiene cura, su madre estaba demasiado contenta. Pasaron los días Andrés le iba muy bien trabajando su media tarde en el supermercado, el señor le compro ropa y zapatos nuevos, se sentía feliz, no podía creerlo.
Paso el tiempo y Andrés se hizo un hombre de bien, su madre salió de esa terrible enfermedad que padecía, y nunca volvieron a padecer de miseria y hambre.
