The hardening :: CONTEST: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words - 6/4/2021

Staring, deep in thoughts,
Mind tousled, heart hardening,
Trapped she was, unmoved.

She was for herself,
Voices inside. all within,
Playing tricks, confused.

Day, night, never stop,
Whispers, which made her crazy,
Talking, arguing.

Blank space and blank mind,
Pointless, useless, whatever,
Hopeless, made no sense.

Muscles stiff, heavy,
Just like the branches in her.
Nothing moved, all firm.

She stared, deep in thoughts,
Not knowing why, all alone,
She was for herself.

Mind tousled, rigid.
Just like the branches within,
Kept growing, non-stop.

Soul rot, slowly gone,
As she sat and stared in space,
Mind hardened within.
