RE: Writing course / Curso de escritura #wewrite - L2
Yes. That works for me. The ringer in the phone is off. Leave a message. I only do call back. Text is preferable. For me writing is something like... using a pencil with an eraser. Everything can get edited until I am happy I have expressed what I wanted to. Signing off is also a good way to get out of an undesirable situation. Can be done nicely. "I have to go. There's someone at the door. Catch you later." (Much much later) Who needs video games when real life is like playing dodge 'ems... while looking for buried treasure... Stay safe..and focused.
You do call back? I'm not, no way. My youngest called me early this morning still sleepy. She had a message from the doctor's office she didn't pick up her phone as they called. She was asked to call the doctor back who called anomynous and as she called the office they sent her away met the message she can't make an appointment but has to call her..
This all is way too exhausting for me. Imagine I have to hear that nonsense after I waited for 15 minutes hearing music I don't like because they put me on hold. Why not say what you want or give a date she can show up. Agendas still exist.
I have to go never worked for me, some talk, talk, talk and if you leave they follow.
Much much later sounds good. A few years ago I told an acquaintance the truth. It was easier. So I said: You take all my energy and drain me, sorry I can't meet you any longer. He was quiet and next said: I am sorry to hear that, but I respect your choice. Now I think about it it's the only person who did not stalk me for the next 14+ years.
I agree life is a game and we shouldn't forget to take some energy drink or take a break in time.
