Chaos? Chaos is only chaos if you feel that way or believe what others tell you. I am not chaotic at all (that's what @jaynie once said about me and it was a compliment).
It's great to have many ideas and unlike what you say there are plenty of people who can not even write a 10 minute freewrite let alone write thousands of versions of the same story which one can only do if s/he can let go of the past, the same old story of the past that influences our way of thinking.
It's not a hard job to write? BTW I started using my old paint. Will you start painting too?
En el proceso creativo, soy el conducto. Creo que nunca escribo nada que tenga que ver conmigo. Escribo sobre todo de las pobres gentes que se van acurrucando en sus desgracias o en sus preocupaciones. Les dedico un fragmento de espacio donde relacionarse y tener una voz propia. No creo que sea ni siquiera literatura de denuncia. Pues no me importa la política (aunque me afecta). El arte debe estar fuera de la política. Se escribe dejando parte de la piel, generalmente de los otros. Creo que sería muy aburrida contar mi vida. Para el que vive (su propia vida es algo monótona, o con poca acción para contar, a menos que sea clasificador de bombas).
Recibo muchos comentarios cuando escribo, por ejemplo, sobre drogadictos, de cómo me siento, o cómo fue. Yo solo he dibujado un lienzo que vi en una película o alguien me contó. No es la vida del escritor. Me es más fácil endulzar metafóricamente algo que escribo, que usar un lenguaje más directo (valdría la pena, leer algo aburrido). ¿Te ha pasado lo mismo?
Con respecto a la pintura. En un país con tantas dificultades económicas, hasta los carboncillos serían un privilegio. Y como diría @Hefesto Para hacerlo de nuevo, se necesitarían unas condiciones muy especiales que...que no tengo en este momento.
Pero si me gustaría tener pinceles y herramientas para pintar y tiempo (no solo trabajar) para crear mi obra.
Me entristece que personas comunes (nadie en particular) en casi cualquier latitud. Puedan viajar y conocer y tener nuevas experiencias. Escribir y dibujar debería ser mucho más fácil. La imaginación es fértil cuando conoces nuevas experiencias. Hablo de por un trabajo común. Ni hablemos de trabajos con calificación, de los cuales en mi país da igual. Llevo de años de trabajo interminable, sin vacaciones. La típica carrera de la rata.
Creo que si lo que escribes le gusta al kezer entonces se trata de ti y también están los que no leen y no tienen ningún interés real en tu historia, en ti como persona. También funciona al revés, si escribo o digo la verdad se piensa que es ficción o una broma. No me importa lo que piense el lector. Y comentarios raros soy gwend.

I did not expect this nomination. I am very happy about these details. Recognition is always great because it motivates me to write. Literature is art condensed in the speed and perfection of style. What is art? We write for the pleasure of connecting with the most sensitive part of the human being. We write because we will leave a mark on those who know us. We write because in some way we change the thinking of those who read us.

Painting as in paintings to hang on walls? Been there. Done that. To do it again, it would required a very special set of conditions I don't feel I have at the moment. Still, what I did was mostly charcoal and pastel. I like the feeling better.
